The small insect floated down to Natalya when she had drifted off and it gently landed close to her neck and it gently suck its sharp tip of its mouth and started to drink some blood from her while injection poison inside it was imposable to feel because of how small it was but when it was done it floated out of the room and down the hall till it reached Cornell's privet study and it suddenly suddenly burst ed and it let out the blood it held as Cornell held his hand out." stupid insects I think its time I did some weeding out of some species those bugs are a bit to dangerous" he said as he grabbed the silvery chain he made for Natalya it was very fluid and it had a moon stone laid into it Cornell had made it to protect Natalya from his world and as a gift to her the only thing it didn't protect against was thing that invaded the body such as poison and parasites, as Cornell reached the small bit of blood he touched it with his finger and gently tasted it."its shifter blood and feline from the taste it went after Natalya he said as he rushed to her room. while the bug may have been gone the poison was already kicking in working on making Natalya's muscles relax and clouding her mind in a mindless happy fog.

She was just trying to calm herself while she was sleeping which very much seemed to be working. Her head started to feel better as well which was good because the pounding her was beginning to drive her crazy. But it was slowly going away which was good so she could finally relax and with how she felt there wasn't much going through her mind either but thoughts of any kind made her head feel worse so right now her mind was pretty blank. She was just kind of hoping that nothing else would happen to her because she could not take much more of this even though she wanted to stay here she didn't want to risk it.

But still something was telling her that she should stay a bit longer and it wasn't any weird thing controlling her. Just something in her mind told her to stay for some crazy reason and she really wasn't sure why. Natalya just took a deep breath then relaxed once more until once again she started to feel weird. She then shot up in bed like someone who just had a nightmare and then once again her eyes became glassed over once again looking like she had been controlled. But it wasn't making her head hurt which was good, she just kind of sat there with her head back looking to the sky with dead looking eyes.

Cornell reached her room just as the poison kicked in as he looked at her he sighed and he gently attacked the chain to her wrist and it glowed a soft sliver glow as it took effect but Cornell knew it would take more then that to reverse this poisons effect. Cornell gently bit his finger and made a small seal on her neck before he held his hand out and from the seal the poison started to drain from her body and formed a bubble in his hand and he made a glass from thin air and put the liquid in it." that should be all I need to do hopefully my chain will take care of the rest and keep her safe" he said to himself as he watched the chains glow get a bit brighter as the magic o f this world started to nullify around her and it warped to protect her.

Natalya was just laying there in a blank state because she was yet again in a trance. This was because she had been bitten but an insect which she didn't even know about which was the worse part in her eyes. But she couldn't do much at the moment because she was far in her trance so nothing else really mattered to her at the moment. So nothing really mattered to her at the moment so she just sat there like a little kid staring off into space since nothing else really mattered to her at the moment. She didn't even really notice Cornell come in because she was deep into her trance nothing around her seemed to matter.

She didn't even really feel him put the chain or blood on her because she was deep in a trance. Natalya just looked around a couple times then she felt the trance slowly beginning to wear off which was good and she could feel everything coming back to her. Then she blinked a few times then looked around noticing Cornell and she looked at him and held her head a bit. "What the? Oh...did I fall into a trance again?" she looked down a bit and sighed lightly since that wasn't what she wanted to happen but it did and she sighed more as she just held her head letting her hair fall into her face.

" you were attacked by a type of insect in my land I caught it trying to escape and I knew from the taste of the blood it had taken that it went after you so I quickly came over here to undo what the poison had done" Cornell said his face was very serious and he gently took her arm and showed her the Chain on her wrist." Because you have been in danger from thing in my land form the start I decide to craft this for you a Chain that will nullify the effects of my land and protect you from it anything on the outside that will try to ensnare you it will protect against, the only thing it cannot protect against is poisons and parasites but you don't have to worry about those the bracelet wards off the insects and other things that would attack he said simply as he gently wiped the blood off her neck." I want to say that I am very sorry I want you to be welcome in my land but I forgot how dangerous it was I hope you can forgive me" he said bowing slightly

She looked to Cornell and she listened to him speak and she sighed heavily. She didn't want it to happen again but it seems that it did and for some crazy reason she really didn't feel safe here. "Well..you know to be honest I'm not really sure I feel safe here now..it seems that everywhere I go I'm getting put into a trance by something..it's just weird.." Natalya then sighed heavily once more, she wasn't trying to be mean to Cornell but it seems that she really couldn't go anywhere without having something get at her which she really didn't like but she stayed here anyway which was weird.

She then looked and noticed him grabbing her arm and she then looked at the chain on her wrist. She then arched and eyebrow but then hearing him say what the chain did she sighed a bit then nodded. But then she heard him apologize for everything that happened and she smiled weakly. "Alright...as long as nothing else bad happens...and yes I forgive you" she was actually getting a little sick of this because she was so sick and tired of it happening and if it happened again she might be very tempted to leave because she could only take some much.

Cornell nodded a bit and he sighed." I am sorry about the things that put you in a trance it was designed to keep intruders out and distract enemies but perhaps I made them too strict once again I am sorry you feel threatened by my land" he said simply as he sat on the foot of the bed and he looked at her." tell me how are you feeling with the chain on it should nullify any tug and influence my land has on you so any awkwardness should be removed" he said calmly as he looked away he felt slightly guilty for letting her fall victim so many times he needed to control his land a bit better, AS Cornell pondered this his moonstone ring glowed slightly showing he was troubled or his mind was thinking heavily on something."I need some time alone for a bit " he said as best he could he tried to keep his tone from sounding upset he needed time to think and clear his mind.

Natalya looked to him and sighed a git since she now felt really bad with what she said. Now she was guessing this was there the trouble was actually beginning and she looked down. This was how it began with her first love, things were great at first but then everything started to go wrong. "Oh I'm sorry...I didn't mean it to seem harsh...I'm just not used to this..." She now felt really bad with what she had just said because now it seemed that something was now going to go wrong. The truth really was that she really didn't want to leave because she didn't really like being alone but still, she felt like she wasn't safe.

But then she looked over seeing how Cornell looked upset and she was thinking she was the cause. Natalya then heard him speak and she then sighed and nodded. "Ok...I'll just leave for a while then..." She then got up and then went out of the room and down the hell wondering if maybe she should just leave altogether. Maybe that would make things better so that way if Cornell really wanted to be alone she would gladly just leave him alone. But she had no idea, right now she just walked down the hall just thinking alot to herself since she had alot of things going through his mind.

Cornell gently reached out and caught her hand before she got to far." don't go its not your fault so please don't think that I just need to think about fixing some things in my land and I'm troubled by the fact that any guests I bring here are in danger" he said softly his eyes seemed to have a slight worried look in them as he sighed a bit."I don't want you to leave but I don't want you in danger so I crafted the chain for you" he said simply as he tried to explain what was troubling him.

She was pretty much almost out the door but then she felt Cornell grab her and she quickly turned and looked at him. Then hearing him speak she looked at him with a bit of a sad look then she went back over since he seemed to look a little troubled and she sat down on the bed next to him. Natalya then smiled softly and gently put her hand on his cheek and stroked it softly. "Well I'm fine now, and if this chain is suppose to help suppress all the effects of everything here then I should be fine now." She smiled warmly as she sat there staring into his blue eyes with her purple eyes not really wanting to look away.

She kept her eyes on him as he kept speaking and she smiled softly still keeping her hand on his cheek. "Yes, and I'm very glad for that and I'm also very thankful to you for it so hopefully now I can be safe here, and this place is so beautiful and I'm having such a wonderful time I don't want to leave." She gave him an almost loving look then what she did which shocked herself but she was glad for, she leaned in, removed her hand then kissed the cheek she just had her hand on and she giggled a bit then smiled as she blushed slightly, just hoping he wouldn't be angry that she did that.

Cornell instantly felt a bit better when her hand touched his face and he felt himself blush a bit when she kissed his cheek." I'm glad you don't want to leave its very good to have company I haven't had much in many years " he said as he smiled a bit and his troubled mind had cleared a bit and he felt much better, As he thought about other things Cornell got an idea." Hey Natalya do you play chess at all I'm always looking for a decent opponent to face me in a game?" he asked if she didn't know he would teach her.

She just smiled warmly looking at his reaction when she kissed him and it seemed that he didn't mind. Which she was glad for because if he had gotten angry then she might have gotten up to leave. Natalya then giggled a bit as he spoke "yes it is, I haven't been this close around anyone for quite a while" and she meant that because the last time she did anything like this was when she had her first love but she had never been this close to someone since then. She did that too keep herself from falling in love again so that didn't happen again with what happened between her and her first lover. It was heart breaking and horrible and she didn't want to relive it.

But then she looked to Cornell when he asked if she played chess and she blinked then shook her head. She was never the one to play games like that, of games of any kind now that she thought about it. "No, I've never played and I don't even know how but I'm not really the ones to play games like that, but I'm guessing you play?" Natalya sighed lightly wondering if he was going to try and get her to play because she wasn't even sure if she would because games like that confused her and she never even really liked to play them but she guessed trying wouldn't be so bad but she wasn't sure if she could ever really learn.

Cornell nodded and he gently pushed back some of the hair that was in his face." yeah I guess you could say I play I have faced every servant in the castle and beaten them all and only a few have given me a decent amount of trouble I could teach you its a simple game the only thing I can really tell you is think a few steps ahead that really helps in chess" he said as he nodded to some of the servants in the halls that noticed the pair talking and they got curious." you two please return to your business"he said simply as he looked out at the moon.

She looked to him as he spoke and she smiled a bit and she then nodded. Although she wasn't too fond of games like this but she suppose that maybe she took try at least looking at the game. "Oh well I don't know, I don't have very good skills or patience for a game like that" Natalya just sighed lightly as she then just looked down at herself and wasn't sure of what she should do or say since it was a little weird right now but at least she was glad that nothing would put her into a trance now. Which she thought was a very good idea that Cornell had made something for her so that way she wouldn't fall into a trance with anything else, because if she did then she would probably end up leaving.

But then noticed a couple of his servants looking at the both of them and she blushed a bit. She wondered why they were looking at them but she got an idea through her mind. She wondered if the reason they were watching them was because maybe they thought was developing between them. But then she looked to him as he spoke to them and they seemed to run off and she giggled a bit. But she decided not to say anything because she didn't want anyone to get the wrong idea. Plus she tried to keep herself from falling in love with anyone else with what happened because she was afraid and didn't want it to happen again.

Cornell smirked when Natalya said she wasn't sure she had the patience or skill to play chess." relax its not to hard patience is good but not needed and skill is gained each time you play just think of every game as something new you learned he said before he formed a chess piece in his hand it was the Black king and he smiled as he studied it and he looked at Natalya for a moment before smiling." do you want to try one game if you don't like it you don't have to play again its up to you?"he offered calmly as he waited for her answer.
