Having Tea in the moonlight

Natalya just looked at the cat and still smiled brightly but then she looked as Cornell took her hand and brought it over to the tiger. It wasn't that she was afraid but she wasn't about to pet a strange animal. Then she noticed that the feline had very soft fur and she smiled more and just gently scratched behind her ears then she looked to him once more and smiled a bit. "Oh I'm not afraid, although I'm surprised I'm not being growled at since I have the smell of a feline since I happen to be one." But she was kind of glad the tiger wasn't because she didn't want to start a fight since she was having a very good time.

Then she noticed they were still walking and then she looked over and then went over with him. She wasn't really sure where they were going until he spoke. Natalya sighed lightly as she followed him wondering what the lake looked like where they were going, Her purple orbs scanned around still thinking everything looked really beautiful. She hoped the lake they were going to looked beautiful because she always loved to be near the water, she wasn't really sure why but she did and spent most of her time near it if nothing else. But she stayed close to Cornell and just kept walking.

Cornell smirked a bit and he scratched tsubakis ear again."Tsubaki is okay with shifters but other tigers are a different story He said as he led her to the edge of the beach, The sand sparkled lightly as if they were made of diamond dust and the water looks almost like the starry sky itself."so what do you think of my lake looks like it hold the sky above doesn't it?" he said smirking slightly as he gently touched the water with one of his fingers.

She looked to the cat and then back to him and smiled a bit and she nodded. She was glad for that since she was another cat she guessed it wouldn't be so bad or so she hoped because then they might have problems. "That's expected, tigers are suppose to be solitary creatures and they don't get along well with others" Natalya then sighed a bit as they got to a beach and she smiled widely not believing what she was looking at and she wished she could step into the water but she guessed if she did it might be a bad idea for she guessed it might actually put her into a trance and she really didn't want that.

But then she noticed that he touched the water but she knew it would be fine with him. He wasn't the one who could fall into a trance and she sighed lightly as she just stood there letting the wind run through her hair Natalya just took off her shoes and let her feet go into the warm sand which felt really good to her just hoping it wouldn't cause anything or she would be in trouble and she was enjoying herself. She didn't want to fall back into another trance but right maybe it would be worth it since the sand just felt so good. Even though she was still wanting to get into the water but she didn't go near it just to save her and Cornell in trouble.

Cornell smiled as he removed his finger from the water and tested it and he smiled widely it was pure and clean nothing had tainted it at all." yeah I have had tsubaki ever since I can remember she has been my loyal companion he said as he gently removed his shoes and he stepped into the water and he sighed in content as his feet got wet he smiled when he noticed she was a little hesitant about going into the water and he gently took her hand and pulled her in so her feet was in the water like his." touching this water wont do anything but don't stare into its depths or it can effect your mind but its not to dangerous unless your alone and really far into the water being right here won't harm you at all he said calmly he knew if she stared at the water to long it would just put her in a daze of happiness she would be okay just mindless with a smile on her face locked in a sea of happiness in her own mind.

She just watched Cornell carefully and just kept her feet in the nice warm sand since her shoes were off. Then she looked to him when he spoke of the tiger again and she smiled then nodded. She guessed it was nice having a companion since she didn't have one she wouldn't really know. She was always alone ever since her little episode with her first love which she always hated to remember but right now she wasn't going to think about it. She just shut her eyes as more wind went through her hair and she loved it because to her it felt really good and with it being cold felt even better because being a snow leopard the cold didn't effect her.

But then she looked over as Cornell took her hand then she just looked wondering what he was doing. But then she noticed him pull her into the water and she then calmed herself feeling the water which felt really good. But then she looked to him as he spoke and she nodded but right now she was just enjoying herself since the water felt really good. Then she looked to him and smiled warmly giving him almost a loving look since she was really having fun. She couldn't even really remember when was the last time she has felt his happy, it has been a while but she loved it and she didn't want the feeling to go away.

Cornell smiled brightly as he saw the look of joy on Nataylas face and he started to walk with her thru the shallows of the lake."So tell me where did you grow up at I'm slightly curious he asked as he didn't realize he was still holding her hand, as they walked he glanced out at the water for a moment." This place is where I come to relax if I feel troubled but I don't feel troubled to often but from time to time it happens and this place makes me feel better" he explained calmly

She was just having so some much and she sighed lightly and she ran her fingers through her hair. Natalya then looked over to him and she sighed a bit, not knowing too much about where she came from since she hadn't been there for a while. "It was a place far from here, I don't remember much of it but it was a peaceful place, until a race of vampires took it over...they killed my parents and I was on my own for quite a while..." She sighed heavily just thinking about that since that wasn't something she wanted to think about since it wasn't a very happy time in her life just like with her and her first lover which she couldn't seem to get over at some points.

But she just kept walking with Cornell and noticed that they were still holding hands but she didn't mind. She actually gripped his hand a bit tighter Natalya then looked to him as he spoke and she smiled "yes, I love places like this they just seem to be so calm and peaceful" she just ran her fingers through her long hair and she then sighed as she looked out to the water for a minute then she looked back over to Cornell once more and smiled. She wondered if he knew they were still holding hands but if he did she guessed he liked it, she did too as well as they kept going wondering if they were going to run into anything else.

Cornell nodded at the loss of her parents as he touched the water and a invisible wave moved over it and he gently stepped onto the surface of the water as it it was like it was made of glass." I'm sorry to hear about your parents vampire can be a troubling race" he said calmly as he helped her up onto the surface of the water, as they walked deeper onto the lake schools of fish could be seen and they danced under their feet but one glance down and the lakes effect would kick in from this deph from the shallows its effect is small but the farther you went into the lake the stronger it got." have you ever done something like this I'm sorry again if I seem like a show off" Cornell said with a laugh.

She just kept her eyes on the water and sighed a bit not really wanting to get all those memories back. But she did but if she let her mind wander to something else then she would quickly forget about them and she would be fine. Then she looked to Cornell when he spoke and she nodded "yes, which is why I'm not all too fond of them" since they killed her parents she now seemed to have a small grudge with vampires because she was close with her parents and she really was not going to forgive them for that. But she let herself move on and thinking about it only made her upset so she stopped.

Then as her and Cornell kept walking she came to notice that they were getting into the deeper water. Natalya sighed lightly then kept going noticing that now she was able to see fish and she smiled since she hasn't seen too many in her lifetime. She might have been feline but she really didn't eat much fish more like other types of meat like deer of course. Then she looked to him and arched an eyebrow wondering what he was doing and she giggled "no I haven't and it's alright" then she kept going with him wondering where they were going or what was going to happen.

Cornell nodded as he gently started to make the water do things such as form into pillars and spirals but it never got them wet. as Cornell did these things he smiled a bit his eyes closed as he focused on controlling the water." I find vampires slightly annoying but I don't hate them really but they act so high and mighty its a real bother he said as when Natayla looked at the water it pulsed and the starry reflection started to swirl into a spiral of colors and tried to pull her in using the bright flashing colors on her.

As Cornell focused on messing with the water the Lake kept on trying to brainwash Natalya as if seemed to whisper things into her ear such as that if she gives up her mind that she will be happy and that its good to give up her mind that she doesn't need it to be happy.

She just kept watching noticing Cornell messing with the water and she giggled. Natalya just kept watching since she thought it was really fun to watch and she just kept her eyes on it thinking that it looked really pretty and she couldn't seem to take her eyes off it but she guessed that she should. Because she didn't want to get brainwashed again because who knows what would happen this time if it happened again. But something told her to keep watching even though she guessed that was a bad idea but she just couldn't help herself so she kept her eyes on it although she started to feel weird again.

But then she started to hear whispers and she was hearing a few different things. Which was beginning to confuse her greatly since she wasn't sure what was going on. So she looked around then looked back to the water guessing it was the water that was doing it and it was beginning to get her head hurt because she was getting quite confused. Natalya shut her eyes and tried to block out the sound but it wasn't really working so she put her hands to her ears which really didn't work either then she got tears in her eyes just giving up then she ended up falling onto her knees in the water feeling tears falling.

as soon as Natalya shut her eyes the water stopped its attack on her and went silent and it didn't try to attack again. when Cornell heard her move he opened his eyes and notice her in tears." I take it the lake tried to attack you I'm sorry natayla we should return to the castle I guess this place is to dangerous for you at the moment" he said calmly before he reached out to brush her tears away and he offered his hand so he could lead her back to the castle. Cornell sighed he knew his world had some defense measures but he wondered if he put in too many. as they walked a small insect similar to a mosquito was following them carrying the same type of poison that the flowers held in the garden to help grab its prey

She was just confused but then she noticed that the water had stopped and she looked up. It seemed that everything had calmed down since the water had stopped which was good to her so she wouldn't slowly start losing her mind. Natalya then sighed heavily just trying to get herself to calm down because she wasn't being targeted anymore which she was very glad for because it was beginning to drive her crazy, she already had a horrible headache with what just went down. She couldn't think of anything to say so she just sighed feeling Cornell wipe her tears then seeing his hand she took it.

She then got up, feeling soaked after being in the water and she actually clung to Cornell's arm. She was nervous and she had a headache so she was feeling kind of weak right now. Natalya just sighed heavily clinging to him as they kept going hopefully so she could at least sit down because her head felt like it was pounding and she really didn't like it so she wanted to sit down and just relax. Because she had gone through a little bit right now and right now she just wanted to settle down for a little while, it felt like her legs were going to give out again but she kept herself on her feet.

Cornell sighed and he waved his hand and in a flash of light they were back at the castle gates, as they walked back into the castle Cornell smiled." here you go relax in your room and I shall visit when I finish my work ok? he asked as he vanished and appeared in his stud but he didn't realize that the small insect was following Natalya and staying just out of her hearing range and sight

She was kind of glad they were hearing back to the castle because her head was killing her. Natalya just sighed heavily as they made their way back to the castle and she was actually quite glad to be in it. She just sighed heavily then felt Cornell let her go then she nodded as she headed back to her room then she got right into bed and covered herself in the blankets. She just wanted her headache to go away because it was just killing her and she wanted it to go away. But she just shut her eyes since she wanted to go away and maybe taking a nap would help make her raging headache go away.

Or so she hoped because it was beginning to really get to her and almost felt like her head was going to explode. Natalya sighed heavily then just kept her eyes shut and let herself drift off to sleep. She felt herself finally drifting to sleep which was good hoping nothing else will cause her to get into this kind of state again or she would most likely have to leave this place because she would not want it to keep happening. Yes Cornell was very nice and she loved everything he did for her. But which all this stuff that was happening she was really unsure if she should stay of not.
