☆ During his childhood, it was always about travel. He was constantly moving from this location to the next and experiencing new things, new people, new cultures, new philosophies, and new outlooks in life. So because of this, aside from being well versed in travel and journeying, Edrick has become rather skilled in adapting to new environments and situations.

☆ Also due to his travels, Edrick has seen lots of people, heard lots of opinions, experienced lots of different and diverse cultures. Because of this he has become rather open minded and he is not one to judge too quickly.

☆ Edrick is an independent individual, something that he developed once he started traveling alone and not just with his parents. He knows how to take care of himself and he doesn’t necessarily want any other help aside from the times where he believes help is required.

☆ He is a good friend once you make the effort to actually have him as a friend, a loyal one, one that can keep secrets and one that will kind of be paternal once he deems you as a close friend.

☆ Finally, as both of his parents very conscious on health, Edrick too seems to have gotten that as well. He is a very physically fit and active individual and one that is well versed in swordsmanship, hand-to-hand fighting and parkour (things that his parents did for physical activity outside their own animal forms and of course the small fact that Edrick did not want his given enhanced physical capabilities to go to waste)




★ He has a certain proud side that he hasn’t really been able to shake of…since ever. He is a very prideful person and sometimes his pride is obvious, but most of the time it is a more subtle thing. His pride may manifest with a certain arrogance, a certain touch in his mannerisms and speech patterns and the like. Pride also means that he doesn’t like losing and if he ever does his feelings towards it tend to be exaggerated.

★ In connection to his feelings, Alistair also tends to let his feelings control him. In a fit of rage he may tend to do things that he does not really mean to, or say things that cross the line. On the other hand, if something extremely pleasing to Alistair happens, he may be super hyper and practically be spewing joy.

★ He tends to drink a tad too much. A manifestation of his prideful self. He believes that to be able to drink a lot is a good thing, to drink a lot is something you can be proud of and with that mentality he tends to overstep his tolerance boundary. In his defense he does have a high tolerance level, but he also chooses to ignore self control while drinking and chug away…

★ Edric tells a lot of stories and is quite capable of navigating the social scene, but that doesn’t mean he makes a lot of deep friendships. He is one who has high standards for people he trusts and people he tells stories to. Often he compares himself separated by a plane of glass, always seen but never actually touched. Just like the snow leopard, Edric is quite secretive, his stories never truly give a picture of who he is, they are merely narratives that give away nothing.

★ With Edrick’s lifestyle and personal culture of moving around always, he had developed a somewhat shortage in attention span. He gets bored easily with the stuff around him, his destinations tend to get boring for him after a certain time. For example, if he is presented with a video game, he tends to leave those games unfinished simply because he gets bored, often times applying cheats just so he can get to the ending faster. It is only though things that are really engaging and interesting that he manages to see them through, good books for example tend to keep Edrick interested enough to finish them.

♡ When he was still a child, unused to his powers, unable to control them, Edrick accidentally caused a major accident in one of the more busy roads in Italy. His parents and he were eating in one of the cafés when suddenly all the cars near them suddenly crashed into something with the drivers suddenly falling asleep, although no one died there were serious injuries all around, even Edrick’s parents were affected by his aura and worse still his father was injured by a rouge Vespa (The driver fell off, asleep)

♡ He is actually quite lonely and fears that he won’t have his own happy ending with a family and kids. He fears that his traveling lifestyle and constant traveling around and of course his large amount of money will only make him look like a dashing roguish traveler to the ladies and not as a lover.

♡ Just as the snow leopard cannot growl like the rest of the great cats, Edrick too cannot raise his voice or shout out like the rest of the talking beings. He himself doesn’t know why, if his predicament is simply one that he was born with or one he gave himself by changing.




» A pair of katanas. These katanas look seemingly alike, save for the guard (one is square while the other is circular), these were given to him by his father who got it from his father and so on. His father explained to him that during his past, there were moments that he couldn’t shift and these katanas would serve him well. The katanas were commissioned by his great-grandfather to a combatant mage and aside from the katana’s increased lifespan, the mage also laid a small enchantment that would enable the user to summon them with a simple word and bring them back. A useful thing considering that Edrick and his father were people who travel much.

» A ring. This was given to him by his mother when they parted ways. It doesn’t have any real practical purpose aside from the symbolic meaning but still Edrick doesn’t take it out much, the only times he gets it out is during sleep or taking a bath. If he’s not wearing it on his finger then most probably he’s wearing it on a necklace. The ring is a simple titanium ring.

Aura: Hypnos Somnus – Basically, his aura is one that induces sleep. Edrick reasons that perhaps the reason why he got this aura was simply because that the snow leopard’s most active time was in both twilights, a time where most things are asleep. The aura’s effect may range to simple drowsiness to a long hibernation, although Edrick hasn’t been able to make someone hibernate as of yet. The effects differ from person to person. This is quite useful in battle since his potential opponents are made useless since they’re asleep, but even if they are not and resist the full effects of it, his aura is still useful as it will be harder for them to do what they must since they are drowsy and constantly battle that side of them that wants to sleep.

Outside battle however, his aura is rather more bane than boon. The only time he can actually use it is when someone really to sleep and with the nature of the aura of putting people to sleep, Edric constantly must keep vigilant and keep his aura in check and suppress it especially if he is in an area that requires the utmost of concentration (a highway for example).

Beast Form: When Edrick shifts to a snow leopard he gets the usual snow leopard parts: the rounded ears, the thick white fur with white spots, the stocky body, and of course the trademark long and flexible tail. However, being a changeling, Edric’s version of the snow leopard varies slightly with the norm.

The two obvious ones are its size and eye color. Whenever he turns into a snow leopard it’s usually a bit larger than the norm. With the norm being around thirty to fifty inches, Edric seems to be around sixty-five inches (roughly the size of a lioness), with his tail being roughly the same size. His other unusual characteristic is his eyes. Snow leopards usually have gray to pale green eyes, but Edric seems to keep his own red eye color even if he transforms.
