It’s unsettling dealing with shame. Humility is his best weapon. They think he’s a wonderful specimen of responsibility and terribly, terribly perfect. For each lie they believe, he laughs in childish glee. They are foolish and he is smart. They have lost and he has won. Therefore he must be right.

Trigger: Raw meat. The smell, the sight, the feel and the taste of bloody flesh and rotting carrion sends Alexei into his bestial state. As long as the slab of meat retains some semblance of rawness, the curse does not discriminate. From sushi to half-cooked steak, from rotted carcass to unattached human limbs, Alexei’s curse reacts.

Abilities: He swims and climbs trees and swallows meat whole, and there's a heavy sweeping tail to knock men off their feet. More than those, he has venomous, bacteria-infested saliva dripping from scaly jaws. The venom glands in his jaws color his saliva red, sometimes so red it becomes hard to differentiate between spittle and blood, and the hue and brightness of the color dictates the virulence. The darkest shade may cause shooting pain for seconds, and the brightest causes paralysis, stops blood clotting, swelling and infections that proves lethal if left untreated for longer than a day. In a battle, dance out of this beastie’s path—giant ugly lizards are as fast as a fat man sprinting—or otherwise pray he does not open his jaws. When his spittle comes into contact with unclothed skin, god help the poor bastard who hadn't paid enough attention and pray there’s a doctor nearby.

Cursed Form: He is covered in scales, and grows claws and a tail that’s half his height. He gets bigger, stockier, and taller. His jaw elongates outwards, his eyes lose their white, and his tongue turns forked and yellow. He hunches forward. He loses his shirt. Color loses its meaning and sound fades away. The world starts to smell of a thousand vivid colors and aromas reverberate in the air. For all intents and purposes, he is a giant lizard on two legs, more lizard than man, and a walking pile of mass destruction.
