♡ Illusory Hercules - Pathetically weak by vampire standards, Hiei parades around as being much stronger than he truly is. Though he makes sure his presentation remains within the realm of humility, so as not to enrage his brethren.

» Tanto Forever strapped behind Hiei's back, just a little above his lower body, this tanto is the fearsome counterpart to his ghoul's. Made of cold steel and jagged edges his tanto is used to kill quickly and silently.
» Katana With an elaborately designed hilt clad in intricate patterns laced in gold and brown. This is his weapon of choice whenever he finds himself thrown into combat.

Abilities: Hiei’s physical prowess is weaker than should be allowed for a pure-blooded vampire. As such, the majority of his powers are focused on magic, as he shares stronger bonds with it than the physical. Hiei remains loyal to melee combat, however; as he has simply redefined its definition for him. A mastery over the wind and magic’s darker half, has allowed him to do just that. Of course not without its shortcomings, particularly when it comes to the darker incantations. The lion’s share of any darkness manipulation must be done within an area that houses little to no light or at night. His darkness manipulations typically come in the form of various little creatures of varying life spans he has formed from shadows. Most are instantly destroyed upon contact and used for errands or as distractions. The creatures in question are usually squat, ugly little humanoid piglets or some other malformed monstrosity, or travel through shadows.

His wind manipulations are limited to two narrow wind currents at a time. He may reposition them, however; such as placing a tunnel around himself, stave off attacks, draw enemies towards him, push them back, or other various manipulations. The narrow focus of two cones will only ever allow him to pull in or push four people. Continued abuse of these manipulations will start to feel as if Hiei is being crushed forcing him to use them with restraint. Extending even further beyond this are his subtle manipulations of the mind and illusory tactics.

Primary Usage:
The Shadow’s Feast, A single swing of Hiei’s blade, releases an an-all consuming darkness, leaving naught in its wake. Flesh, bone, and, blood alike are absorbed, enriching this ominous mass with its gruesome bounty. Try as it might the perpetually growling cloud of inky blackness cannot devour living creatures. Life does not totally render this spell impotent, however; as it can be swung in an narrow arc at a small group of opponents temporarily clouding their vision.

Once its belly is full of the fleshy nutrients provided by its master’s conquests, TSF’S true purpose shows itself as integrates the newly eaten substance. The once cloud-like formation then undergoes a gruesome transformation, growing patches of skin and marrow until it resembles some gross parody of its prey. Upon completion of its evolution the monster makes its presence known in wild swings and toxic breath. Bound to whatever weapon Hiei so happens to be channeling it through at the time, the creature may only ever attack within the distance of the weapon. Much like the non-lethal portion of TSF, Hiei can also unleash them in a horizontal line of thick black fog and monsters combined into one. This method is a double edged sword as it lowers the supply of creatures he can draw upon. The arc is also quite slow and unless used in conjunction with Wind Blast is easily avoidable. Whenever he no longer requires the beast presence he can simply dismiss it.

Unlike the vast majority of his darker spells, TSF doesn’t require a great deal of darkness as it can be summoned from any nearby shadow. The bodies it gobbles up can also be stored for long periods of time without being used at all until ordered to transform.

Wind Blast, Without using any flowery bullshit, allow me to explain this simple, but multifaceted beauty. Wind Blast is used typically to pin down enemies, allowing Hiei to finish them off with his Shadow Feast, or crush them to death with a powerful blast of wind. It differs greatly in that its used with more power pinning down or repelling foes with greater intensity. The downside being that Hiei can only use this spell in short burst as it could easily pull him in as well. The cone is also made smaller as it can now only target two people.

Farewell to your Flesh, Stealing Abel’s wind claws technique and merging it with his own brand of mysticism. Hiei stabs a nearby shadow with his blade before withdrawing an indescribable mass of black liquid. Hiei then infuses his blade with wind, molding the darkness into jagged spikes protruding from either side(6 in all). From the ends of said spikes falls more darkness coating his guard and pommel, ending with a fanged mouth forming on top. The opening of the mouth signifies the end of the process, allowing Hiei to put these new additions to use. Thanks to the infusion of wind Hiei can freely launch a spike(s) of his choosing using the wind to guide their aim. Whenever a spike is used Hiei must replenish its numbers within another shadow. The mouths are also capable of producing a swarm of insect like creatures to attack nearby attackers, causing burning sensations and incredible pain, but this quickly burns out the power forcing him to use it cautiously.
