&. ALIAS: Used to possess titles such as ‘A Hero Who May Appear Once in Hundred Years’ and ‘Number One Warrior in Japan’, aside from ‘Crimson Demon of War’. ☆ Courageous, as all true warriors from the Sengoku period are. Yukimura was known for his fierceness and unwavering spirit in the heat of battle, constantly charging forth with no fear of death. ☆ Protective, as a general should be, the safety of his master is his top priority. Even whilst in the heart of enemy forces, he would ride back if any danger comes in the way of his lord. ☆ Devoted, with a never give up attitude. He was one ready to fight to his very last breath; his attacks often are relentless to the point enemies feared him as soon as the vision of him charging forth came into sight. ☆ Honorable, due to him being a stern practitioner of Bushido. Sanada would always fight opponents head on, never wanting to sort to cheap tactics or trickery to fight his battles. ☆ Caring, usually seen when he is not in the midst of battle. Yukimura was one who always watches over those who are close to him, treating them well as if they were like family to him.
★ Impulsive, usually being one to go off and make the first strike. He doesn’t really like to resort to tactics; unless, such is really needed in the battle. Needless to say, he is easily caught up in the heat of battle. ★ Stubborn, to the point his view can be too narrow. Yukimura usually sticks strongly to what he thinks is for the best and correct, even though his logic might be a little flawed. ★ Hot-headed, and easily aroused to anger, Sanada would not think twice to strike a person down once he has been shamed and dishonored. Of course, this trait also makes him all the more dangerous in battle. ★ Over-protective, as much as to lay down his own life for the sake of those he is sworn or tasked to protect. He firmly believes that his own life weighs little compared to those around him. ★ Skeptical, to the point he may also question his own master. He can rather critical when it comes to the people he associates himself with, only to put his trust in them once they’ve proven their worth.

♡ Because of the rule related to keeping his real identity a secret, no one aside from his master can refer to him as Yukimura Sanada. Naturally, this can only be done in private; otherwise, he is simply known as Rider ♡ He may deny it, but he actually enjoys doing simple chores and tasks, especially when he has nothing better to do. His technical skills at home would probably rank him as a first class butler. ♡ Although he absolutely abhors such weapons, Yukimura is actually capable of using guns, since the harquebus was one of the key weapons in winning skirmishes at the time of the Sengoku period.
» A tanto (dagger) hidden in his clothes, bearing the emblem of his family clan. Since it can be used to identify him, he makes sure it is unseen by anyone. » A nameless pair of jumonji-yari (cross spears) which he uses as his main weapon. A crimson handled weapon whose blade’s shape make it similar to that of a crucifix, the opposite ends of the weapon can be merged to create a long, double-bladed spear. » His body armor, crimson-red in color, which was the reason why he was known as the 'Crimson Demon'. The armor only worn when going into battle; otherwise, he is seen in a typical kimono-hakana-haori combination for his standard outfit.
- Class: Rider
- Master: Juan Jiang
- Identity: Yukimura Sanada
Combat Style: During the time in the Sengoku (Warring States) period, Yukimura was well-known for two things: his fighting prowess with his chosen weapon (spears) and his skill on horseback. In foot, his abilities with a spear are never to be taken lightly, especially when there is a certain distance between he and his opponent. Sanada currently wields a pair of short, cross-bladed spears, one on each hand yet combinable at the un-edged ends in order to create a double-bladed spear. When used separately, he strikes at his opponents with both weapons, usually in a flurry of trusts, targeting the smallest openings possible to get his hits in. As long as there is a good distance between he and his target, his attacks would be relentless while trying to keep himself in a small safe zone away from his opponent. Up close though, he adjusts his hold towards the center of the handle, shifting to a slashing style instead. When combined, this only further increases the amount of distance he can keep from his opponents, though his attacks as less vicious than compared to its separated form.
Although he can easily be classified as a Lancer-type servant due to his peerless spear-wielding techniques, no doubt his abilities are far greater when given a steed to ride through a battlefield. A member of the Takeda cavalry back in his days with the famous warlord Shingen Takeda, his skills only increased the more he participated in the grueling war of unification. One legend said that Sanada was able to break through lines of the Tokugawa Army three times and nearly reach the enemy commander, striking immense fear into the man until his dying day. Whether this claim is true or not is debatable, but there still remained a strong fact that he is someone not to be underestimated, especially when mounted on a horse.
Noble Phantasm: Rokumonsen – Entitled as ‘The Preparedness to Face Death’, Rokumonsen is a Noble Phantasm which bring out the full potential of Yukimura’s skill. By sacrificing all remaining mana within himself, he manifests a noble steed carrying a flag bearing his clan’s crest, the ‘Emblem of Six Sen’ A.K.A. the Rokumonsen. When mounted on this horse, all his body limits are unlocked for a short time, divided into three chances. Much like in the Battle of Osaka, he will attempt to overwhelm his opponent with three charges/attacks, decimating anything else that may stand between him and his chosen target. The three attacks are usually linear, as if like a knight charging forth at full speed in a jousting competition, but he may modify his attacks if he sees fit to something more dynamic. The attack ends in two conditions: either his opponent is defeated within the three rounds, or he fails defeating his opponent in those three attacks. Whatever the case may be, once he deactivates the Noble Phantasm, he would have barely any energy left to fight, requiring the need to replenish his mana source if further battling is required, lest he resigns his fate to death once more.
The Noble Phantasm is derived not from a weapon, accessory or special skill, but of his own family crest, the emblem which is often carried by those in the Sanada Clan. The Rokumonsen is an emblem that looks like six coins lined up into two separate rows with three on each side. Although they look like the standard ‘sen’ coin which was a currency at the time, their meaning represented more than money. The six coins represented the ‘Six Realms of Existence’ in Buddhist teaching: Hell Realm, Hungry Ghost Realm, Animal Realm, Asura Realm, Human Realm, and Heaven Realm, along with the fare the dead must pay in the boatman in order to cross the Sanzu River. Although this is the symbolic mean, the true meaning behind the insignia is a little simpler. It is simply the clan's way of saying that they are ready to lose their life at any moment; the determination to charge forth in any battle even though death looms over their heads.
