♡ Ivore is a fae of many insecurities, at the forefront of, which is his fear of weakness. To this end Ivore seeks alliances with strong allies, confident in his belief that by commanding power, he himself will never be weak. This inner terror partially contributed in his decision to create such an elaborate glamour form, all so he won’t look weak. ♡ His name ♡ Ivore lacks the energetic approach to chaos possessed by his brethren. Not say he doesn’t love to cause mischief and war. Indeed he does, it’s just his method has always been rather slow and focused then wild and carefree. Still, it’s not something he’d rather keep to himself.
» A human skull in a bird cage » A walking cane with a skull for a head.
- True-name: Iwamatsu
- Caste: Noble
- Species: Unseelie Fae.
- Magical Attribute: copious amount.
Appearance: With a little boy build and height of five foot six to his name, Ivore’s true form is indistinguishable from a human twelve year old. A mountain of locks sit messily atop Asmua’s crown forever threatening to overtake his face. Being the neat freak that he is, his hair hasn’t had much luck in this department. Instead it hangs lazily over the sometimes-crossdresser’s brow, scraping the fae’s forehead as it sways from side to side. The gloomy gray tresses a sharp contrast to his lightly tanned skin.
Glamour: (Click here for a visual.) To most non-fae, an oppressive gloom wrapped in darkness is Ivore’s given impression. Stalked by twin terrors of shadowy design, this façade is made all the more frightening. Pasted to the brow of the tri-horned helmet adorned by this fake visage, is a half-moon emblem of minor significance. A mere artistic indulgence much like the shoulder pads bedecked by hooked protrusions below. Though the fae’s creativity does not end here, as the weathered black robe beneath this heavy armor will attest. What lies under the cloak is a complete mystery, although; the armored gauntlets jutting out of them are a telling sign. To no surprise his voice also undergoes a change, taking on a deeper more menacing sound, seemingly coming from every direction. This glamour is almost always in use whenever consorting with those outside of the fae race.
Magic: For such a deceitful character Ivore’s magic is fairly straightforward. He isn’t one to allow his opponent to live very long for fear of retaliation, thus; Ivore focuses on delivering the final blow as quickly and painfully as possible.
Shadow Magic - Legion Traditional armaments’ place amongst Ivore’s arsenal is absent, usurped, by more “colorful” weaponry. Summoned fourth from the shadows, amorphous imitations of life. Defined by onlookers as mounds of darkness adorned by a mass of eyes shaded a much deeper violet than the veiny network that glues them together. These creatures are puppeteerd into readiness through mental mandates. The all-seeing monstrosities assist the fae in the form of metamorphose. Whenever enlisted into a military role the subjugated sideshows reshape themselves into monstrous humanoid forms.
Raging Earth When trickery is no longer an option, Ivore abandons his illusory tactics in favor of old fashioned violence. Rage in its purest form, the fae’s earth magic is blunt and brutal delivering righteous judgment upon the wicked in the form of stone sentinels. Of course he is not limited simply to making dolls, as Ivore is capable of constructing shields, launching spiked projectiles and so on.
