As a traveling scholar by trade Tensai carries around tools which are essential for documentation; note pads, maps, graphing paper, pencils, ink, geographic tools for creating maps of new regions found are regions explored. Tensai carries all these tools within on his scrolls which labeled on the side reveals the kanji “Discover” which indicates that these tools are for literal use only.

"Heaven's Spear"
Ten Joukai, Tensai’s prized, crafted Collapsible javelin spear, constructed from highly reinforced black steel were at the end of the spear holds a thirty-six centimeter (36cm) blade were engraved on the side in a gold trim the insignia of Tensai’s clan, this weapon reaches lengths of one-hundred and eighty-eight centimeters (188cm) and weighs around seventeen kilograms (17kg). Along the pole region of the spear are engraved swirls extending from the hilt of the spear to its blade revealing the great craftsmanship luminosity by the smith whom created this bludgeon. This weapon has the capability to pierce reinforced steel with ease as well as human flesh.

Upon making eye contact (Being direct, the peripheral) Tensai can place his opponent into an arresting reverie, inducing an illusion. Within said illusion, Tensai holds complete control of all properties pertaining to the pseudo reality: Time, location, events, emotions; all factors that would apply in reality, Tensai holds in his grasp. Unlike the caster, Tensai, who’s entirely conscious of his surroundings within the real-world, the spellbound opponent is blinded to reality, and feels as if he/she is actually still in realism; the trapped are oblivious to the fact that they’ve been placed under his spell.

The illusion itself places a substantial mental strain in the opponent, as the infiltrating Tensai can corrupt the psychological stability. Once within their mind, Tensai has access to subliminal memories, fears, ambitions, which in turn, he can use to add more thespian s to his spell. Any pain felt in the dream-state, the opponent will experience in reality once the Illusion has been terminated, as if it essentially happens. The brain translates the subconscious world as real, and therefore, sends forged signals throughout the body, deception in a sense. If Tensai can efficiently hold his opponent in the false reality for a prolonged duration, or by destroying his opponent’s spirit, distress will befall his opponent. Such psychological trauma can be provisional, or permanent, this dynamic is solely dependent on the opponent’s will and mental resolve. The spell can only be broken, if Tensai releases it, or his physical being is interrupted in reality (Touched, attacked) as total focus is needed to maintain the hold.


Combat Style:

Naturally born into time period during the reign of the 1st, Tensai reflexively retains his survival tactics. Versed in tactically sound combat, Tensai rarely strikes first, however allowing his opponent to do so, giving him the reaction and for the most part, the beginning of the next phase. This method is typically used to scan an adversary's initial reaction in combat, which usually cries out much in regards to his opponent's style of combat; be aggressive and power orientated, or calm and tactical.

Quite the calculating combatant, and Tensai takes adequate time to analyze his fool in the mist of battle. Displaying simple or even intricate techniques aimed to test, and even to a sense evaluate the boundaries of his adversary’s power level. A tactician, or even a strategist, Tensai knows the key to successfully grasping victory, one must grasp the concept of his opponent’s movements, trade of thoughts, reactions to certain events or altercations. Information is key; it’s what separates the living from the dead. Needless to say, this implies that Tensai can decipher an opponent rather quickly given the right perimeters. Intensive, and systematic, Tensai thought not openly expressing it, prides him on this trait.

Tensai among other things is most conspicuously known for his natural prowess with his Illusionary affinity. Able to trap his foes in powerful psychological environments, simply with eye contact, Tensai also possesses an array of elaborate cerebral scenarios, adding to the evil of his own techniques, ranging in convention reasons; Tensai’s style of combat is quite convoluted to make for this reason. Before rushing blindly into combat, Tensai prefers to test his mental prowess on his opponent, testing their mental and bodily limitations with his illusions.

Tsûppari Nagare is a combat style utilizing Tenai’s proficient skill with his Ten Joukai “Heaven’s spear”; this Kenjutsu style consists of maneuvering the spear with the hands in a graceful acrobatic motion such as executing spins and tosses; these types of movements will mostly shroud the true purpose of this combat style which is used to strike vital points of the body with the tip of the spear, to add a more authoritative strike to this style Tensai will band against the hilt of the spear but not before exerting a wave of force against the hilt forcing to move at a faster, more influential velocity, increasing the overall impact force against the object, this alone can easily pierce steel let alone human skin.
