♡ While considered on the exterior one of the most driven and faithful members of the Holy Church, so much that he was able to assume the higher echelons of the organization, Marco holds no real love for the ministry itself. The idea, structure, and current teachings dramatically conflict with his own interpretation of the Divine Plan modeled from Revelations and the book of Exodus, and Et cetera--or so it is lead to believe. It has not been confirmed whether he wishes to dismantle the establishment itself or is merely content with his philosophy being that of a quiet radicalist.
♡ While an Executioner of the Church, Marco has spared, even employed Ghouls, Lesser, and Noble Bloods for mutual efforts to complete a variety of underground tasks and agenda's, usually through the means of blackmail, threats and subterfuge.
♡ Several records regarding Marco's birth place, previous affiliations, missions, and other worldly records prior to his christening into the Ministry are either vague or outright missing. Instead, the holes have been fabricated by fellow associates with the cover story of expressed confidentiality, wartime, and the lack of necessity.

Combination: Marco's aspect of Divinity is rather unorthodox in the case he does not use it in the aspect of true foresight or predictability, but the unconscious manifestation of his powers into muscle memory and the acute stress response function of the human body. As the body already has a natural instinct to be aware, alert, and reactive to immediate danger and their surroundings, Marco's skill evolves that function to the caliber of supernatural, thus granting him mystically heightened reflexes and passive threat perception, generally associated around incoming attacks like bullets or magical assaults.

However, this level of precognition is not absolute. Due to it being dependent on the "Fight or Flight" instinct of the human body, Marco's reflexes are explicitly 'human' in any case which he does not feel threatened, off guard, sensory impaired, or simply unaware of an enemy presence. Thus he remains for the most part, if not more vulnerable to ambushes or attacks that confuse the senses IE: illusions. In addition being aware of the attack does not entirely constitute in being able to avoid it or react in some manner to avoid total harm. Thus, while his skill may give him the upper hand in combative situations, if against the right opponent or offensive maneuver-it can simply be overpowered.

The Divine power at his disposal is simply used to augment his physical prowess, a skill labeled "The Body of God", Marco uses Holy energy to put him, a human, on par with the supernatural enemies he is tasked with dispatching-granting him speed and physical strength which he uses to engage foes in melee combat. Should the need arise, he can disperse this energy in the form of concussive-short ranged blasts or protective shields at the penalty of losing the energy used to support his increased physical state. The more energy dispersed, the less extraordinary his condition. Naturally, the protective maneuvers are not indestructible walls but rather buffers to cushion impacts. The more destructive the attack blocked, the more mana spent from intercepting the blow and the recoil.

Another, rather secret weakness is rather due to the make up of divine magic and Marco's own morality. While divine in nature, because Marco does not have "True Faith", a prerequisite of his arts, his magic is actually weakened to other holy arts, reflecting the same kind of results with unholy works during an exorcism. Against opponents of the same skill, his magic wanes when pit against holy counterparts. Against superior foes, it unravels during collisions.

It should be noted, the state of increased physical condition, like most things requiring exercise and the consumption of stamina, the duration is restricted to the output of free actions. Most maneuvers typical of martial struggle are passable and without concern. But more involved feats of athleticism require more mana to push the body. Lastly, the recoil of the magic after the confrontation is over leaves Marco extremely fatigued as the flesh was never designed to perform to such degree of impossibility.



Secondary Usage: Generally used as a trump card assault, Marco will focus the same manner of shield magic into a bladed or projectile weapon to give it increased sharpness, range and the holy property. The condition of magical expenditure still applies and frequent uses lower the scope of his physical intricacy.
