♡ Lionel's dry-humored manner of speaking mask both his insecurities about magic and people (which he considers to be among the most fearsome of beasts) and periodic bouts of existential crisis. ♡ He is very lonely, and subconsciously searches for companionship. ♡ Lionel's not a violent man, but he sometimes spends his nights wandering alleys, observing street fights and looking for other links to the magical realm. He'll even jump into a fight himself, if need be.
» An electrical cord that extends a couple of feet; though there is a plug on one end, the other end is frayed, and he grasps this end in one hand. Used to recharge his electrical powers, whenever he needs to be subtle about it. Fills him up in about six hours from empty. » A notebook and pen.

Combination: Contrary to his surname, Lionel Waterman does not study hydromancy, but is a magus who wields both geomancy and aeromancy. He uses these separate arts in tandem for effective, but mostly battle-focused, uses. These arts have the risk of taking a rather large physical toll on his body; specifically, his use of geomancy can put him under a large amount of strain.
Lionel uses geomancy to manipulate his environment, mostly by creating simply-shaped walls and pillars out of earth or metal. If in the middle of a dirt plain, Lionel could pull up a wall of up to the length and height of six feet with a thickness of two feet, taking him a total of about five seconds at these maximum requirements. He is also able to conjure pillars up from the ground, at a maximum diameter of three feet, length six feet, in five seconds, and a diameter of one foot with the same length in a two seconds. Both of these forms of earth can be used as self-defense, and he prefers to use walls in large areas against large attacks, and pillars in confined areas against narrow attacks. However, pillars can also be used offensively; if he were to battle in an alleyway, he could pull pillars out of the walls or ground, slamming into the opponent for a blunt hit, or even caging them in a set of earthen bars, if they are slow enough (this is where the stunning properties of his electrokinetic powers come in handy). He can also utilize objects within the ground, meaning that if something such as plumbing pipe work were beneath his feet, he could tear it up out of the ground and use it as a spear or a cage in itself.
To make up for his deficiency in close-range combat, Leo has also undergone training in aeromancy, though in battle, he mostly uses electrokinesis. He must first store electricity in his body from another source by making skin contact, whether it be a street lamp or a car battery, in order to use his abilities. From there, he can shape or project lightning in a variety of fashions; for example, flashing electricity to blind opponents, shooting debilitating bolts of lengths of up to eight feet, or charging the energy around his own hand in order to give his punches electrical properties. This ability is quite useful, and its effectiveness can be amplified in several situations. For example, if he fights surrounded by metal, using his geomancy he can become a very formidable opponent. If he fights during a lightning storm while in the presence of metal, he could create a lightning rod and effectively triple his power.
All in all, Leo is a fairly versatile fighter who needs to use his environment to his advantage; because of this, he often pays close attention to his surroundings and is constantly formulating plans in case of combat. His main weaknesses lies in his power consumption. In terms of electrical powers he can fight for about five minutes fully charged and constantly using a decent amount of electricity, though he often pulls from other electrical power outlets to gain more time. Leo's construction geomancy can eat away at his strength quickly if used rapidly. Much as if he pulled each pillar or wall out of the ground with his bare hands, Leo must strain himself to exert a new force each and every time; he will take more and more time to conjure earth the more he uses his ability. In battles against rapid or tricky opponents that can hit from a wide variety of ranges and angles, this means that Leo fatigues rather quickly if he needs to use geomancy. This becomes especially difficult because Leo likes to repair his battlefields after combat, making him an easy target for opportunists.
Secondary Usage: Leo can use his geomancy to create shelter, or even to repair things such as damaged walls or foundations. He can also make small bridges, or create ways of moving around obstacles (for example, a line of pillars to jump between). His control of electricity has its practicalities as well, especially in the mortal realm's electronic-fueled world.
