Combat Style: In battle, Gensei relies strongly upon his kenjutsu skills for fighting. He is not yet at the master level, but is highly skilled when it comes down to it, and isn't above killing his opponents if he has to. Believing that if he must do it, he shall, whether it was a man, woman, or child. His coldness is seen in his fighting style, though, he doesn't kill his opponents in a horrifying way, he kills them in a graceful, beautiful way that allows his blade marks to be seen upon his opponents body as the blood spews from them, like a beautiful artwork.

He doesn't really relay on his spirit for help, but he uses it if he really needs to, and if he didn't have it, he would be less efficient in battle, so he always practices with it in he has to fight without his spirit. If he believes that the battle will truly be difficult, then, in the beginning, Gensei would call forth his spirit and have it fight by his side to achieve victory in battle. Gensei's battle personality is very different than his regular one, which is kind and gentle, but sometimes bossy and strict.

Noble Phantasm: Makaze (Storm Caused by the Devil) - Makaze is a windstorm that Gensei can create using his kenjutsu skill and speed. Using his speed, he circles his target(s), using his Aeromancy to speed up around them with each lap and slowly a dark gust of wind surrounds them within it. As the storm picks up, it becomes dangerous, pulling in everything inside of it to it's walls, while it also produces razor sharp wind that it used to weaken them to pull the target(s) into the walls, to rip them into shreds. This skill can be used on a larger scale with his spirit, and can be created without him having to circle his opponent.

Magic Usage: Aeromancy - Gensei uses Aeromancy for his attacks and defenses. Creating gust of wind to attack and defend himself.
