♡ Her birth name is Tatsumiya Kaede, given the vampire origins of her blood line was native and called Japan their home. Rosella only took the Italian name at the age of eight after witnessing the slaughter of both a family and political figurehead that would soon bequeath the fortune to her.
♡ Rosella keeps her vampirc origins a well kept secret. Even from the other supernatural and other worldly beings that are both part of the estate and family. As far as they are concerned, she is full blooded human who was dubbed heiress out of a last minute attempt to save face. There are very few who truly know of her half-breed status.
♡ Rosella does not personally enjoy being the ringleader of a lot of the underground vice and dirty work that's associated with her family. She does so, however, out of neccesity and to continue to support the bloodline.




» Similar to an epidural shot, Rosella carries with her in case of an emergency, needle containing the extract Phlebodium aureum, a solution from a natural rain forest plant that with combined with the reactive catalyst in the mixture provides UV protection that can be administered through direct injection. Entering the body the concoction provides a fast acting sleek that exists through the pores of the skin and sits across the collagen fibers, drying rapidly. It can provide up to two hours of resistance to the Sun's rays, although immediate but brief sympthoms include nausea, dizziness, disorientation, and slight headaches.
» Fang of Belial: A dagger artifact stolen from the Rozen Order several hundred years ago and found it's way to the human world. Whatever magical properties or effects it once had seem dormant, however the value of such remains high.

Abilities: Sanguine Pandemonium: The name of the collective manifestation of the inherited traits Rosella possesses. When triggered, many cosmetic effects such as the transformation of hair color to a blaze red along with the eyes taking a feral appearance(hue may or may not mirror the same change as the hair), and sharpened nails. Rosella's body takes on the attribute of able to support a natural body temperature of 1470 °F, but retained and controlled akin to homeostasis. Through will and somatic foci (gestures, physical touch, etc) Rosella can use her mana to direct this heat to instantly displace from her body and externalize in the form of spontaneous combustion-setting fire to people or objects within her immediate field of vision or proximity. Such uses of this mastery of flame include, but not limited to:

-Breathing fire.
-Coating the limbs with fire.
-Heating the fingernails to slash & burn through materials such as flesh or wood.
-Discharging the internal blaze in a large sphere with Rosella in the epicenter.

Unfortunately, the potency of her magic attacks her human blood in a genetic game of dominance. As such, Rosella must struggle against the lure into gradual psychosis and feral impulses while this magic is active.

Primary Usage: With taking Pi Gua Quan as her martial arts discipline and natural affinity for grace, Rosella can hold her own in a variety of close encounter situations and has enough combative expertise to offer a challenge to the multitude of supernatural opponents she comes across. Her real talent however is the manipulation of her fire related abilities, mixing such with elegant and fluid dances that disguise the somatic component of her magic. Since her fire gives off the impression of being able to come from any source Rosella employs such along with trained acrobatics to prevent her 'spells' from being telegraphed. Constantly keeping her contesters off guard.

o1. Impressive character but the color code from Alias to Status should not be altered in any way and must be presented as it originally was without being modded.

o2. Her ability is far too strong and still misses a real based weakness that will give others the upper hand, instead of having them wait for her to run out of mana. Lesser vampires may choose between physical or magical powers but they can't use both; you must choose one and base her strength from that.

Removed the strength/speed. However:

The weakness in her "abilities" is there. I just opted not to openly disclose them in lieu of that being unintelligent as that opens to the option of using OOC knowledge in a confrontation and devalues the aspect of figuring out maneuvers on the character-and not the player's behalf.

For the sake of clarity with the staff however, her clear weakness regarding fire should be apparent with elements such as water, beings that can use the element of "Lighting" as a bolt of electricity is far faster than the kindling of flame, nevertheless on the aspect of the player of Rosella the limited duration of her abilities. Not entirely due to magical stamina but from the corruption of the psyche-thus increasing her vulnerability to illusions, hypnosis, and other mental assaults. I'll opt out to mention that being a vampire and thus "unholy" the inherited weakness to any divine force or mysticism. Though it isn't out there to put out there that since the "fire" is a result of unholy processes and mana, divine magics would obliterate the make-up of such flames sustained by her powers.

Needless to say, without elaborating on the vast range of previously approved and tolerable abilities for characters in the past, a quick glance would show Rosella's skills are fairly "tame" in the weight of comparison.

Regarding the shots relates to her background of being the débutante and court leader dirty money and trafficking of vices between realms, including, but not limited to slave trade, drugs, prostitution, stolen technology, kidnapping, and assassinations. All at first orchestrated by a network of renegades and a union of clans which hers Tatsumiya/ Marcellino-DiSciascio was but one seat and recently, the patriarch heading. Thus, this would grant her and associates materials, magic, and technology that would be out the reach of those not affiliated or outside means.

Though if there was a history section of the profile...I could have elaborated and made this evident. And the term "Mary Sue" shouldn't be used with such a liberty, especially if I'm being forced to use a template that only allows certain amount of elaboration regarding character traits and aspects-yet doesn't permit the full girth of a background to be written therein.

Yes, water and several other elements are more powerful than fire but there are some members on this board who don't know such knowledge. Despite you wanting to keep certain things a secret, this is her biography and doesn't mean that she is sharing her secret with everyone in character and anyone who reads this application in means to find out about you - should realize this as well. But all the weaknesses/strengths must be presented in this application or they will not be accepted.

And despite your beliefs, dear, they are not. She may use the power of fire but there isn't any possible idea for her to randomly call pieces of ember from the sky; what would possibly catch on fire to create something large enough to become harmful? Remember - she is a lesser vampire, they are naturally weaker than vampire nobles and several other races; be a little more modest with your powers.

So, I'm being asked to compromise the security of my character on behalf the inability of other role players deductive reasoning? While I'll make the changes, honestly-how fair is that really?

The term "embers" may not have been accurate as the idea was to be designed upon directing heat-which would then(as exposed to the oxygen in the air) combust while spiraling downward. However, the ability itself has been "removed'.

Several other aspects, such as Cynogen burning have been removed.

Though the lack of specifics which makes her that much more powerful than a noble vampire is lost to me, as I'm looking at several characters(vampires and non) which have skills that dwarf this character many times over. Thus the scrutiny is clouded and I'm going to have to request which directly is causing that much of a scare.
