Group 4/all around me/are familiar faces/worn out faces/worn out places Did every person here have a date? Ella began to think so, she couldn't find someone without a partner in their hands, and every time she did, they were shortly joined by an ecstatic looking lover. Ella was doomed.
Seriously, what was she thinking, coming here without a date when the ticket says 'Only partners of men and woman may attend the banquet'? Really, Ella should have just grabbed some man off the street, threatened his life and dragged him off to here. Yeah, but things never work that easy... Ella thought with a deep sigh. Things always seemed to go wrong for her.
But Ella was attracted to the beautiful artwork the building hosted, and her panic was soon washed away by the legacies that hung upon the walls. She could spot many paintings from immortal races, some of Edgar himself and others of scenery that looked like it came out of a fairy-tale. Most of these she couldn't name, she never really got the chance to brush up on immortal artwork, Ella never had the time after all. Ella was too busy with trying to stay alive, so her remaining thirst for art was never quenched fully. She sighed. Ella wanted to be a painter when she was a mortal, but thanks to her master, Hieronymous, she never got the chance. Damn, how she hated that guy....
There was some problems that occurred when Ella got sucked into her dreamland, such as the one she was in now. First off, she was always startled by something when she got deep into it. Second, she always ended up looking like and idiot when she freaked out. That was what happened now.
A man's voice woke her up to the real world, energetic and bouncy, the least thing she was expecting! And before she knew it, she ended up on the floor, gaping at the man in utter foolishness. Ella screamed loudly for a moment, her high pitched voice filling the walls of the ball-room, before standing up and looking at the man sternly. God damn, this sucked.
Grabbing the man by his suit collar, Ella whispered in his ear. "Forget you just saw that before I punch your face out. Anyways, you're my date now. We're both alone, at least you look like your alone, so let's pretend to be lovers or something before we get our asses kicked out of here. Got it?" Ella hissed in his ear, before backing up and putting on her signature fake smile. "Hey honey-bunchy-pumpkin-pie! Nice to...um.. see you here! Haha". Ella said with a wince on her face. She couldn't fake, at all. ( OOC: Late post, sorry Tenrou! D: )

The way the girl responded was certainly not what he expected. One moment she was looking around, trying to find something, then just after he spoke to her, she started screaming, before realizing her situation, and trying to intimidate the spirit. To be honest, it amused him, a girl shorter than him, and from what he could tell, probably weaker as well, was trying to intimidate a swordsman, more than 600 years old, and a master of smithing. not a moment after she cached his collar, the titanium hidden under his jacket was already changing shape into numerous daggers, to pierce his assailant, but then he realized how he was at the Solstice Banquet, an event he wouldn't like to interrupt with a stupid fight.
The girl seemed rather impulsive, and ferocious. But that was the exact reason he decided to play along with her. Few people would have the balls to assault him like that, and it helped that she looked cute.
The last time anyone threatened him was some 20 years ago. That was his last hard battle. He was sent to clean up a nest of rogue magi. He arrived to find most of them already waiting for him, all sorts of spells ready to be unleashed, and he had to listen to them explaining how he would die from that type of attack. it was incredibly boring, and the only reason he did listen to them, was to give them a false sense of superiority. Then, he destroyed all of them with his iron storm.
Tenrou thought for a second, before responding. "Ah, I'm sorry for being late, darling, I had to finish one of my tasks. Being a servitor is a hard life you know. Nothing your Tenrou couldn't handle though." said Tenrou, hoping she would catch his race and name. That would make things easier, and she would be able to respond questions, but not all.
With this, he would have a date, and thus he wouldn't be thrown out of the Banquet. That would be most unsightly after all. But he wasn't sure about her nature, and that annoyed him. She seemed like a nice person acting tough.
"You look fabulous by the way." said Tenrou before leaning closer to her, and whispering. "You know, you don't have to intimidate a man to be your date, miss."
"Would you like to grab a few bites, m'lady?" asked Tenrou, once again acting his role. Things were getting interesting, and that meant more fun. That, and this girl's personality intrigued him.

He smiled and softly laughed at her embarrassment accompanied by a red flush that almost matched the color of her ensemble and even her lovely red locks. "Yes, well you look all decked out, I just couldn't help myself from acknowledging your beauty. Ms. Colonnello, or would you prefer being called my queen" He smirked at her, the change from her rather tomboyish apparel really did wonders for her appearance outwardly, but he acknowledged that she preferred being herself and that meant clothes that were rather suited for men, and while aesthetics were nice he liked that she was an individual and comfortable with being one. He gazed up and down her body noting how she truly did enjoy red, all things red or red related. It was her indeed one of her defining qualities.
He noticed her possible discomfort when she fidgeted with her corset, he really felt out for her knowing that these clothes must feel awkward for her. He leaned over and whispered into her ear with a soft and caring voice. "If you want to wear your regular clothes, and I know you are much more comfortable in them. You will still be the same colonnello to me, I will enjoy the dance with you just the same. People can stare at us and scoff, but who cares ya know?" He wanted her to be happy so that they would have a pleasurable time, the solstice banquet didn't happen everyday after all. And he didn't usually have a cute date to social gatherings, he usually went about it rogue and hoped he would find a fetching lady that had the same opinion. But she had been a boon from above for him, really the odds of coming with royalty when he practically had a non existent social background. Truly collonello was an out lier, and he loved it.
As he watched the pairing of couples and the shifting of feet, the rustling of dresses, the swaying of pants. He followed the bulk of the gaze, looking for what he deemed to be the common direction, as he recalled there was a sequential order to the events of the solstice banquet. 'Ah, what was it again? I know there is a dance, and an honored dance duet of sorts, there is a myriad as well as a plethora of food, hmm... Ah! of course the dinner, and the costumes' within his mind he might as well have snapped his fingers as the pieces sorted themselves out. He hooked arms with Colonnello entwining them closely and then lacing his fingers into hers, the feel of her skin was in many senses electric to the touch. "I think its time to dine my Queen" His voice rather upbeat as he led the way to a rather long table uniformly decked with dishes plates, cutlery, and floral decorations. A pristine white cloth drawn across the table completed the ensemble. He picked two chairs rather close to the posterior single chair meant for a guest of honor or a rather socially comfortable single person, yet not completely adjacent to it. He unhooked arms with her as he slid out her chair for her "Your chair Colonnello" No, chivalry is not dead children.

Don't know why, you never gonna stay in sight I just wanna know what the hell is goin' down ----------------------------------- Group #4With eyes scanning around more with the setting before him, he could see easily that some of the people were getting acquainted with one another, others being paired up with their supposed partners for that evening. It was a little enviable honestly, but with him being unsure about the etiquette necessary to participate in such grand events, he was frozen to a sense of inaction, unable to move forward with a certain fear that he might screw up at some point. He knew he needed to relax though, find a way to enjoy himself for the time being while waiting for his ‘date’ to arrive. There was always the buffet table to start with, the assortment of foods placed on there rather exquisite, though he was unsure on what he should actually try. They all looked different from what he was used to, and he was a little cautious when it came to some foods he had doubts on. He planned to motion towards it nonetheless, but as he attempted to, he was halted when a certain voice spoke out close by him, his head turning to see the familiar face.
There stood his mistress; dressed rather elegantly in a foreign look dress that was similar to what the other ladies wore to the party. He was awe stricken really, seeing that the attire really suited her well especially given the occasion. He snapped out of that little trance though, long enough to respond to her appropriately with a slightly nod of affirmation before clearing his throat to speak. “I’m fine really…Just not used to this kind of setting, I suppose,” he spoke in a frank tone, still having trouble fitting in with everyone else.
He paused for a moment though, not really sure how to have her address him really since he was aware it would be dangerous if either identities were let out. Still, what he did know was that people in the modern era knew him as ‘Yukimura Sanada’, even though his real name was something else. He was not sure if people would catch on if he used his real name though, it also be a risk if they knew their history as well. It was rather nice of her though to be thinking about his welfare, surprised that she was willing to pass up this event for his sake if he wasn’t feeling too well participating in it. Still, he did not want to put her efforts to waste, especially since she did go through the trouble of inviting him and having him dress up for this affair. After some thought and playing around with both his names a bit, he came up with one idea, the male feeling confidant enough to keep his identity under wraps for a while.
“Hm…Why not call me R—Gu..”
His words suddenly stopped coming out as he felt a sort of nudge at his side, rubbing his waist lightly as he noticed his lady staring off somewhere. His eyes tried to follow the direction she stared upon, noticing a particular couple among them, yet enough sure if they were the same people she was staring at. Acquaintances of hers? he thought to himself as his eyes befell the pair of redheads, not really sure what her relation to those people were. He was honestly not so familiar with those she associated with, only really familiar with her clan and those against her. An “Eh?” escaped his lips hearing her say something before storming off somewhere, blinking a few times before realizing he was left alone once more. He deep sigh escaped his lips as he reached for the back of his neck to rub it a little, once again left to wonder what he was going to do. Right now, there really was only one thing he could do.
Might as well his the buffet table and get something to eat… ----------------------------------- Never show me what's inside, You cause my nervous breakdown…
