Ten years have passed since the fall of the Regulator Government, and now the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse ironically harbor the last small hope that good still exists in the world. The splintering factions of rebelling humans and the bickering Regulator and Faithful angels could not hope to survive a war against the unified strength of Hell, so when the demons swept through, few could make a stand. The rebellion of the Children was short-lived and the Regulator reign crumbled beneath a Fallen leader. Only the Faithful Horsemen could hold their ground, but four mocking Beasts, let alone the entire army of Hell, are enough of a challenge for the Horsemen. The odds were not in their favor.
So the Angels did the best thing for humanity: they hid underground as the city burned, trying to save all that they could along the way, and watched as Lucifer raised Pandemonium and set it in the middle of what once was Lazarus, the angel capital.
The Regulator Regime may be gone
--just like everyone wanted--
