The crowd applauded in a frenzied state of happiness and excitement with a combination of cries, squeals, claps and shouts. A total cacophany would be what one expected from the combinations of unharmoized sounds, but to him it was a pleasing sound, a vocal pat on the back saying he did a good job. The tinkling euphony of coins greeted his ears and brought a smile to his face and by relation a formal bow to the audience. A cheer, a lone spectator shouted with glee Encore! Soon the crowd was erupting with a fanfare of collected shouting, Encore, Encore! They asked for another and he delivered another.
He concentrated deeply, sure he wasn't the best at making his spells competely manipulated. But soon he started feeling the heat build within his body. His magic growing, stablizing, gathering. That similar thrill he felt when preforming the arcane arts. He had to let it loose before it grew erratic and he became a living example of magic gone wrong. His jaw opened with a fluid grace as he tilted his head up to the night sky, his locks dangling freely behind his head. The dazzling, flashing, and exciting buildings all trying to make his gaze their own with their wild colors and fancy words. The magic released, a fan shaped plume of flame larger than any normal man shot out of his mouth and into the night. The air rippled as the fire swirled and danced before exploding like fireworks with the sudden burst of heat and the audience gasped, cowered, and stood amazed. A final cheer louder than the last signalled their departure and the ending of his act. He bowed once more returning their applause with a smile, a wave, and a thank you. He bent down and retrieved the sack he had left on the ground, the signs of his profit evident in its weight as he quickly and needless to say happily pocketed it. He enjoyed his job, providing entertainment while practicing with his blessing of magic. To normal people he was simply just a common fire breather, or juggler, or something that could be found in a few circuses. But nobody truly knew that he was using magic. He preferred it that way, less of a hassle to himself.
He tousled his flame colored locks lighty, running his fingers through them. The light touch making them look as if they were the fire he had so elegantly manipulated earlier. His brown eyes warm and deep stared up at the sky as he fitted his hands back into the pockets of his white jeans. The slight and soft scuffle of his shoes meeting with the ground being easily drowned out by the roaring myriad of sounds that so fitted tokyo at all hours. Leon, enjoyed traveling and the hustle and bustle of tokyo. Their were so many types of people walking around. From cosplayers to the occasional street preformer demonstrating the family inherited skills that let him employ his sleight of hand. He just kept walking, no destination in mind. He let his feet lead him where they pleased for a decent change. Not a care in the world.

The whole world is covered in darkness It’s reflecting a tomorrow wrapped in delusion ----------------------------------- Peaceful…Absolutely peaceful…Those was the first words that flashed in his mind when he would describe his surroundings at the moment. It was the usual scenery in the busy city of Japan, with people moving to and fro through the sidewalks and overpasses and various kinds of motor vehicles road down the streets. It was just normal; with people living their lives without any knowledge of things that would go beyond their understanding on what is ‘real’. They had absolutely no idea on what kind of world they were truly living in, being the ignorant beings that they are while conforming to their norms. To him, it was like them living in a visual illusion he would create, the people going on with their lives not realizing that what they see before them may very well be false. This did not really matter to him though, for he to enjoyed living in this kind of dream-like reality, preferring this false sense of peace over what he really knows.
Right now, it was just the usual routine he would go through, visiting one of his favorite places in the world for a few things to indulge himself with while he was in the mortal realm. It was just a quick trip anyway, the male knowing exactly what he wanted to get there in good old Akihabara: a new galge he could entertain himself with while resting in the confines of his little home when he had nothing better to do. The male would never admit it to most people, but he was indeed into those kinds of things, yet which the kind of personality he would normally display to others, people would never really catch onto that. It was no surprise anyway, for trickery and deception was his specialty in more way than one. Although his abilities in this little magecraft was still rather minimal, it was just enough for him to survive on while also getting some kicks with when he becomes unbearably bored. In terms of magic, he was still much more discreet in keeping his abilities a secret, not wanting to overly expose people to the point they would believe things like sorcery truly does exist. It was not like he would profit anyway from doing such things anyway; rather, it would possibly bring him more trouble. Sadly, not many people share the same thought.
Along his way back home, something indeed caught his attention amongst a gather of people, the male noticing a few streaks of smoke and flashes of flame from within the group. He moved in closer as his curiosity overtook him, wondering just was it that has gotten the crowd so amused. Trying to get a nice peek at what has happening, he squeezed himself through the audience until he had a nice view of the action, watching the not-so-ordinary man as he played on with his trick. It was certain different though, but the male was not exactly as amused with what he was watching. It was just a simple application of fire sorcery, yet the watchers were too ignorant to actually realize this. Still, he admitted that the person’s methods were effective, seeing as the people were enthusiastic enough to spare a few cash for his work. Separating himself from the crowd, he continued to watch a little longer until the man became isolated from the onlookers, approaching inconspicuously before letting his presence be known.
“You sure enjoyed displaying your little ‘talent’ there. But what would you do if they would realize it was more than just a ‘smoke and mirrors’ gag?” ----------------------------------- My disheveled self doesn’t know the meaning of stop I’ll become chaos without losing my way

As the weight through his clothes shifted with each graceful and fluid step his body made, he knew that he had made an exceptionally good days work today. This would last him for... actually quite a while, today's turnout was rather unusually grand, perhaps his practice really was showing. He knew he was slowly getting the hang of his 'special skills' through rather unothodox methods but he never knew the impact they would have and at what moment. When training and preforming his skills he didnt really notice his skills improving the overall process becoming inch by inch better each day. He would prefer normally to use his medium to help manifest his powers, it was to say the least easier for him and always had a better turnout. But then people would start asking questions and then the whole thing would just be less 'magical' of course that was a bit ironic since it was indeed magic that let him employ this certain trade.
The crowd dissipated with a small scuffling sound slowly slipping away from his sight. Their collective voices expressing among other things the the feats he had so recently brought to their eyes, their ears, and their memories. Spread the word for a better show! His smooth voice announced to his masses, a bigger show meant a bigger turnout, a bigger turnout meant easy street. And everyone loves easy street. A scattered few of the crowd remained, he could probably guess their thoughts, some would wait in hopes of a encore, some would want to talk to him personally, some would tear apart at his show trying to define it, some well there are those outliers nobody expects. Today the outlier made itself known to him in a most peculiar way. It knew that he was doing magic? Sure, there were others who know how to coax, command, and call the arcane arts for themselves much like himself. But in tokyo, the livewire city such a gathering if not planned ahead of time was a seldom thing to happen.
He spoke with an inquisitive tone to him, implying this and that and the moral consequences of blah blah blah. Nothing, I dont use smoke and mirrors. I use mirrors, smoke and lights, honeslty I just don't see how people can do it with only smoke and mirror, it seems so hard to me. But dont you go telling anyone, it'd ruin the surprise. He could very well have choked on his sarcasm and nobody would have noticed because it was so damn thick. He smiled an impish smile at what he assumed was a fellow Magi. So, just here for the accusing. or did ya feel like saying something else. He awaited a new response from his overly supportive friend.

The whole world is covered in darkness It’s reflecting a tomorrow wrapped in delusion ----------------------------------- In all his years of living in that side of the mortal world, this was actually the first time he’d actually bother watching a street performer since he knew most were mere hoaxes using simple trickery to get their money’s worth instead of doing a job. It annoyed him enough to want to show those people what real illusions were, even though his was still at a rather low level. This man was very much different though. Rather than cheap trickery and parlor games, it was an application on what they learned, but the ends were for the sake of earning a quick buck. It was not bad per se; in fact, the male had to credit the man for having the guts on doing that anyway, when most avoided letting normal people see their powers. When he spoke though, he meant no real harm in his words, though he might have spoken a bit too loudly with that comment of his. He forgot to show some sort of restraint there, but his words were confusing enough anyway for any mere mortal to easily comprehend.
As for the response, he could see the guy was rather careful with his own wording, making it all sound like it was indeed one of those simple tricks one would see on television, but he was smart enough to read in between the man’s words. “Ah! Sorry about that. Almost let your secret out there. As a fellow practitioner though, I couldn’t help notice your skill,” he said, only saying enough such that any eavesdroppers would still not be aware of what he really meant. If Kentou did say anymore than necessary, that man’s little secret would be exposed. As tempting as it was to do that, the male knew there was no profit in doing such a thing to the guy, nothing at all to gain except perhaps a small moment of amusement. Still, that may as well risk him of being exposed as well since that man may as well be already aware of what he was. The magi practically announced himself when he spoke, and only a fellow would understand those words; lest, he was actually from another class.
“Still, I’m surprised you’re using that to earn some petty change. You lose your job or something?” he said assuming that the man was desperate for money. Although Kentou would admit that he has used his abilities once in a while one people, it was mostly for his own personal entertainment when he had nothing better to do. He was a trickster by nature, one who derives his enjoyment at the expense of others. Of course this would also mean he was putting himself at risk like this man, but the illusionist being more discreet with how he uses it. Still, he won’t deny using it to earn money also. ----------------------------------- My disheveled self doesn’t know the meaning of stop I’ll become chaos without losing my way

Job eh? Well thats a fickle thing. For one thing I dont really take long term commitment jobs, I like to well experience alot of things so temp jobs or one time things are usually my style for work. As for why I do this, its an easy way to practice my art and I get paid to boot! It's much better than standing alone practicing to get better at well, you know what. Their is constant motivation, always a reward be it monetary or the cries of fans, honestly its a much happier way to better myself. Now doesnt that just sound peachy?
