Dear Faded,
Regrettably, since you left accordingly to your testimony last night, I am only able to write you a belated letter now. I do believe some clarity was in order after you showcased yourself as an individual here on Glass Moon. Before you read any further, I would like to assure you that the purpose of this letter is NOT to antagonize or slander you in any shape or form. So, back to the main concern of the letter, I realized that the ambiguity of the “Canon rules” thread caused you quite a bit of trouble and I even offered to take full responsibility for it. However, stating (in your PM) that I disregarded the rules I set for the site and employed favoritism to choose the other applicants for the Unseelie Queen position is probably NOT the manner you should use, especially now that you have reached an age where you have gone through years of parental discipline and acquiring the necessary social skills to talk with your superior, as well as your peers, professionally. Being a fellow young adult, and as someone who is a senior to me in age, I was sort of disappointed at the disrespect I received AFTER I explicitly spoke to you with utmost courtesy and kindness. Late last night, I mentioned that it’s simply the way it works on GM, that we employ quality checks to make sure no two-pump-chump can easily climb his way up to his position as King of the Fae. Also, the first come first serve basis was textually vague. Again, I apologize that I couldn’t have made it more clear, but the meaning could have also been that you need to send the RP sample to me first (in which case you completely lost to the person who submitted her sample the day before your application got approved). So, anyhow, in the future, it would be extremely wise to keep check of your surroundings and refine your speech. The world never revolves around a single individual and throwing a tantrum when you realize that fact will only cause others to perceive you as spoiled and petty.
Hime, GM’s Director. February 01, 2010.
PS: I hope my words have, to some extent, swayed you toward reflecting on your incomplete social skill for the future. If it is the case that you do better in life because of what I said, please drop me a thank-you note. I would be really happy to accept it and will patiently anticipate such a day.
