I want to make your life hell.
The sun was setting behind her, as she walked the lonely streets. The same pair of headphones around her neck, as her hands missed the fabric of the gloves. Sitting on a bench, she stared at the navy blue sky. She hummed in her head, as she leaned back against the wooden bench. Staring at the people walking past her, she felt a bit bored. Wondering where that boy went, she bet he was sleeping safe and warm in his bed. She didn't know these feelings, her feelings only came from blood and war. Those are the closest things that made her feel as if she had a heart, and was human. Was it so wrong, to want to be like one of the mortals? She shrugged this off, not really wanting to answer that simple idiotic question. She pulled the headphones up, so they would cover her ears. She began to listen to the music, that was going through them. Not really knowing the song, she sung along with it. Her eyes narrowed, as she sung and she soon felt them close. She felt as if she was on a boat, and it was rocking left and right. It was going down a stream, to a place she didn't know. A place, where she would find her true heart, that place. She put a hand to her lips, when she kissed the boy, it felt weird. As if a spark had came into her heart, and almost set it on fire. But she shook this off, and put her legs on the bench, laying down. She could still hear the music, but she wished she could find it. Find the place in her heart, she wanted. She wanted to be loved, and love in return. She sighed, and closed her eyes, feeling these feelings erupt over her. She clapsed her fingers together, and tried to find a comfortable place to sleep. So she closed her eyes, and fell into a light sleep. Tag: Makoto, open Words: 310 [/blockquote]

"Ah, damnit. What a waste of time. It's almost dark."
Even though the day was quickly approaching evening, Makoto had just been released from school. Today had been particularly more eventful than he would have cared for, and it was all a result of him lacking the headphones that girl had stolen from him the other day. He had grown so accustomed to using the headphones as a barrier between him and other people that even when he lacked them, he was still under the assumption that people thought he couldn't hear them. That is why when one of the seniors from his school began talking to him, he ignored him. This only served to irritate the senior as he berated the blue-haired junior, and it was only a matter of time before the one-sided verbal confrontation became a physical one.
In the end, Makoto earned an after-school suspension and a black eye, the latter of which he was unaware of until he went into the washroom to wash his hands and face. Upon looking in the mirror, he touched what was supposed to be the tender, discoloured flesh around his left eye, but of course, he felt nothing.
A few people shot the boy glances as he made his way home, which he returned with a glare that said, "What? Never seen a bruised eye before?" When he had gone to the school infirmary after the fight as required by school procedure, Makoto asked her about his lack of tactile sensation. After a few tests, she didn't discover anything and that besides the black eye, he was perfectly healthy. Like he had done when he first realized what was wrong with his body, the nurse attributed the lack of pain to adrenaline. Knowing that he wasn't going to get anywhere, he simply thanked the nurse and left.
As he was walking home, he decided to take a break when he reached a set of benches and rubbish bins. It had been a long day of school, and the fact that he still lacked the answer to his numb body made him weary, so he rested his head upon his arms, which were held across his knees. Following a deep sigh he raised his head, looking at the bench directly across from him. There was a girl who had occupied the entire bench by lying down on it, and she seemed to be sleeping. As soon as he saw her face he immediately recognized her. How could he not? Her face had been attached to his for an extended period of time. That's not even mentioning the fact that she was practically the reason he had gotten into a fight during school and needed to stay after hours.
Rising from his seat, he swiftly travelled over to the parallel bench, taking the headphones and music player from the girl and returning them to their rightful places -- the headphones over his ears, and the music player in his pocket. He then put turned around and began walking home -- the music blasting in his ears would help should the girl decide to wake up and start bitching at him.

Do you want to see me, in the light?
She felt the headphones being removed from her ears, the white gloves on her hands were stolen from where they belonged. She sat up quickly, and stared at the culprit. Her little toy was now back, but something was wrong with him. Her eyes narrowed, as she stared closer, not able to get a good peek. She jumped up, and grabbed him by his shirt, turning him around to face her. Her eyes widened at what she saw, a black eye on his face. She held in the laughter, not one to laugh at someone when they have just been injured. Well at times she did, but this was a different thing. She touched it, and found that it was buldging. A sick look was on her face, she toook a step back. She coughed in her hand, trying to not laugh at him with a roaring ovation. She coughed, and put her hands behind her back. Trying to think of what to say, without laughing at him. But she wanted to know how this happened to him. Looking at him, she then tried to descifer. He was at school, he could have gotten in trouble. He could have gotten beat up also, she grimaced and sighed. " Anyway, where are my other sets of gloves? I had to steal some yesterday" She said completley erasing the mark from her mind. She then narrowed her eyes, thinking of what he was. Was he human, or was he something else? She didn't know.[/blockquote]

Makoto saw that he had stirred the girl from her slumber when he removed his headphones from her head, but he didn't care too much. All that mattered was that he had his possessions back, and now he could return to living his monotonous life as usual. Of course, things almost never go as you planned, so you had to be able to adapt to the situations presented to you. That is why when the girl grabbed him as he was walking away and spun him around to face her, he wasn't the least bit surprised, especially considering what happened during their last encounter.
The girl's hand reached up to touch his black eye. Of course, he could not feel her touch, but he saw it. He also saw the girl's face twist into a strange expression, as if she was trying to suppress her laughter, but he paid little mind to it. Her lips moved, and a scenario reminiscient of their last meeting began to unfold. Unable to hear the girl, Makoto responded with, "What? Why do you keep bothering me, anyway? And do you have to be so rough?"
Deciding he didn't want a repeat of that day, he removed his headphones so he could hear her answer. Getting into another fight wouldn't be a problem if she wasn't a girl. Something about getting physical with a girl left a bad taste in his mouth.
