Dear Members,
Thanks to the surge in population, it has come to pass that the Broken Glass Moon hasn't enough staff to make sure each member has the utmost experience possible. As such, we the staff of Broken Glass Moon hereby open applications to the assembled members, allowing each member a chance to throw their lot in for review under the scrupled wisdom of the current staff. Each member under review is to keep in mind the criteria necessary to be a staff member of Broken Glass Moon, and to show continued adherence towards the rules and statues that comprise the core values and knowledge of Broken Glass Moon. Those who apply are also recommended to show a level of competency and knowledge regarding the various classes and races of Broken Glass Moon.
Your application towards to peerage are to be divided into general and event, and each application is to be completely in the applicant's own words. Staff would further appreciate if the application could also contain a contact address (in example, MSN messenger or AIM) with which the staff may use to interview or train said applicant.
Sincerely, Your Staff

I dislike applying without a format, but I understand the strain one would place on some. I am applying for an Event Staff position. I have noo interest in enforcing the rules, or being 'that guy' to people that do something wrong. Staff or not, I try to keep an air about that makes sense. No stupid overpowering forces, no lack of description in action or reason when explaining the course of said actions. As a Roleplayer, I am elite, and I'm almost an Elitist. I enjoy good Roleplay, length is nice, but virtually unimportant compared to content. I enjoy rationality, and as Staff I would demand it in any events I would hold.
As a player I have already begun a chain of discussions that will take the form of a rather lengthy and peculiar plot. It's not something outside of my power, although being charged with making events allows various plots to flow more freely.
As Staff I would intend to keep an air of excitement within the forum. Allow characters to win, or lose, or encounter oddities. Due to the nature of the class system, as well as the integration of several Nasuverse concepts, I would do well as combat event staff.
That brings me to Nasuverse. Shifters, and fae, except eternals, are all common concepts not specifically derived from a single source. The idea of Magus has been changed a great deal, although Hexer reminds me of the desert branch, a bit. When it comes to Fate/Stay Night, my expertise is absolute. Upon creating, I helped Asch now and then, in explaining some of the pieces of Heaven's Feel. My experience with the entirety of Nasuverse is not quite as immersed, however I am still quite experienced.
Since I do not know what you want, all I can do is give you this, in the form of a weak resume' and hope you understand my ability and experience. If you want to contact me further, I'm available on MSN. Haimura@hotmail.com.

Name; ooc - Disney Channel, character - Anastasia Lacusta.
Age; Nineteen. (idk why I put this. >>)
Desired Position; I'm open to anything really, just tell me what you need finished and I'll do it.
Skills; I have some in graphic arts but not as well as everyone else, I'm sure. I'm a fast typist and quite dedicated - I'll finish the task at hand first and foremost before I return back to my personal business. I'm easily a people person; kind and open to everyone, at the same time firm when it comes to uphold the rules and makes sure that everyone gets along. It's hard to get me mad or upset. Some say I have an interesting twist when it comes to creativity; I wouldn't mind helping with a few ideas for events so everyone could enjoy them or perhaps holding a monthly contest for the best character, staff, member, couple - even those group parties and tournaments everyone seems to enjoy.~
Contact; musical.philosophy@live.com; for those who don't have MSN, there is always AIM - TheXDivineXOne
Why?; Because I enjoy this pro-board very much and I love to help out with technical things like coding or organizing certain things for the role players to enjoy. The little work I've had to do for Biyori was entertaining enough. I haven't been involved with any board with the position of a gmod or anything like that but I often help them with a few ideas when it comes to events, judge the applications when they strike confusion in matters of whether to accept or deny, or simply organize a few things around with members, stats, and labeling active threads.
Naturally with my behavior, I am always kind and welcoming to everyone. Even if their applications or their attitudes are horrible, I'm never one to lose my temper and instead would rather show the flaws of their character in a gentle manner. If they need to ask me anything I'd be more than happy to answer them, show them the right way and not lose my temper or frustration. I know most of the members on this site and can talk to them in that non official sort of way - sometimes it's more comfortable for them that way.
Time? I have plenty. Although I have college every day of the week; they only last until 12:50 my time and I get home around two pm - the homework is never terrible and rarely get a huge project or become caught up in a major assignment. Sometimes other people may occupy for the computer but it's never long. Of course there's the daily things like friends, family, outings - stuff like that but if a staff is never able to attend or be around as much as they'd like to, I could most likely fill in.

As a member of the roleplaying community for over three years, both as a common member and a staff member, I believe I have a lot to offer Glass Moon given my experience, both online and offline, and what I perceive as my personal strengths. I roleplay Makoto Starscream (surprise!) and have been most often referred to OOC as Koto. I can be contacted via MSN at bigpoppaeric@hotmail.com (don't laugh, it was made during my sophomore year in highschool! D:)
In terms of offline experience, when I was in highschool I was the defensive captain of my football team and a member of the wrestling team. Sports not only teach you how to work with other people as a member of a team, but also how to be an individual within the team. It taught me to act in a manner I expected of my teammates, and this was most evident when I became defensive captain in my senior year of highschool. The younger members of the team look up to you because you are seen as the leader of the team, and I am expected not only by my coaches, but the other members of the team as well to set a good example. I see little difference between that and being a staff member on a roleplaying board. You must learn to work with your fellow mods, your staff team, and trust that they will do their job to the best of ability while knowing they expect the same of you. The members see the staff as the leaders of their site and therefore look up to them, and I believe I can set a good example for the members to follow by abiding by rules, becoming knowledgable about the Glass Moon's important information, and maintaining a civilized attitude.
I am modest and know that the only thing separating me, should I become a mod, and a normal member is simply a title and a few powers that come with responsibility. In no way am I better or above a normal member; I am not exempt from any limitations and laws that apply to normal members, I simply have more responsibilities. As any staff member should be, I believe I am a kind, courteous person with a mild temper that makes members comfortable with approaching me with any issues they may have, no matter how small or big, which of course I will be more than willing to assist them with. Members shouldn't be intimidated by their staff -- they should view them as friends.
While I am a calm, patient person, by no means am I a pushover. I am assertive, and will openly let someone know that there is a problem if I feel that they have stepped beyond the boundaries of fairness. I treat others in a manner I expect to be treated, and if the respect I show is not reciprocated, then there is problem that will be solved immediately. I don't like when things linger around unfinished; it bothers me. That being said, I feel that I have a good sense of what is fair. I consider myself very rational and objective. I don't act without having a reasonable explanation for why, and I will not settle a dispute after just hearing one side of the argument. I am free of bias; no matter what my personal relationship is with the involved parties, I will review an issue with impartial eyes.
Despite my three years within the roleplaying community, I am not the best writer or roleplayer around. However, I believe the experience I picked up during those three years would make me an excellent addition Glass Moon's staff. I was a mod on a site that was combat-intensive, so besides ensuring the members are following the rules, reviewing and approving character sheets, keeping track of member activity, and filling my obligations as an important character essential to the board's plot, I had to judge fights on a constant basis. Luckily, the members often tried to settle a dispute amongst themselves before dragging a moderator or administrator in. I was considered a "Fight Moderator," and you guessed it, most of these disputes were over fights and whether or not one or the other was capable of doing something. With this experience I believe I'd be effective at reviewing character abilities and their potential for being abused in a combat situation against another character, as well as keeping an eye on threads where there is fighting and managing and judging tournaments.
Since I was not only a moderator, but also a central character in the board's plot, I also had to drive the plot forward on my own. Sure, staff and members pitched in their ideas, but it was ultimately up to me to present it in way that would work in-character. There were no planned events -- I had to cause events in-character that would effect most of the other characters. I am a person that believes plots should be member-driven and my creativity concerning plots revolves around that idealogy. Members should decide their involvement in a plot, and staff should know what is going on with most characters in the board's world, not just with the ones they're involved with. This way, should a thread or group of characters have an interesting plot device, the staff could give them publicity they would have otherwise not received.
My knowledge about Glass Moon's lore and classes isn't perfect, but I intend on changing that. Any time I am uncertain of a particular detail within Glass Moon's world, I look it up. I read over the classes a few times every day just to make sure that I can look at characters and not have single doubt about what they are capable of.
I believe I possess all the qualities required to be a good staff member. My ability and experience in being a team member and leader, my laid-back and inviting attitude that makes me easily approachable, my logical and objective approach to situations, and my modest, yet forward attitude are attributes I'd expect in a staff member, so hopefully you'll give me a chance. Thank you for your consideration.

HAI!
so, as you may know from the cbox, my name is bee. you can call me anything really, but bee works just fine! :)
now, I must say, I looooooveeee this site. glass moon has really turned out to be something purty, if I do say so myself, and I gots ta love it. the fact that in such little time it can grow some bigg ... wow. it's like, a gremlin. hahaha.
soo, as far as what I want to do, doesn't really matter much to me. In the past I've been events staff, profile staff, coding/graphics staff, and just about everything inbetween. personally, I'm fine with anything, although I feel as if my strengths lie in profiles or events. I love people, I love dealing with people, and I love entertaining people.
as for as my abilities go, I'm pretty much a jack-of-all-trades. I'm competent in making graphics for sites, able to code in both HTML, UBBC, and some Java. I can go through profiles and recognize the needed changes, and then politely and quickly respond to the poster with some feedback. I'm able to come up with events and contests, both IC and OOC, and then run them through til the end. I'm also able to come up with new concepts quickly, answer questions to the best of my ability, and come on every day to be as dedicated and committed as possible.
qualification-wise, I have been on proboards for about four-ish years. I've ran a few sites of my own, staffed on numerous sites, and been a member on even more. I was a staff member on both provision, one of proboards' oldest and at one time biggest sites. I moderated on state of sound for a while, ran by some of proboards' most notable members. on the other hand, I'm still RPing on one of the first sites I ever joined, and have staffed numerous times on konaha in profiles, additions, techniques, equipment, and doing events.
I'd like to thank you for taking the time to read my long-arse application, and reeeealllyy hope you consider me for a position here on glass moon. you can contact me through pm, or on aim at "captainaoshy".
thanksss !

Hello, some of you might already sort of know me from the Cbox, but I am Noki, I just can't help but feel the poor staffers are being overwhelmed with many new applications that need to be revised, and that looking them over might start to become dreadful D: especially since the site is growing so rapidly. So I would like to put up my wonderful helping hand in consideration, being overly patient and having almost no life of my own (mostly), I would be more then happy to look some applications over deny/accept those I find are fitting. Since I have very minor skills in photo manipulation, creativity perhaps just enough to help others along with their own plans, I am probably more qualified to be a Character Mod then anything.
I have been staff on many sites, most do not live anymore since it has been a while, but for a year I was staff on five sites, one being admin another co-admin and three of them mods. So that is about it with out going into boring details, basically to keep it short and sweet, if I'm considered as staff or any sort I can be contacted at tostitoe._fries@hotmail.com via hotmail or MSN in that contact. Don't be shy to send me a message, I don't bite♥ I would be more then happy to be GM staff's lackey, doing what they dread to, for the good of the site. Clean up and what not, basically that night guy x3

Noki, I would love to bestow you a congratulations on behalf of the BGM staff. Please make a separate account with an OOC name of your choosing and PM one of the staff when you've done so. Yay for another moderator!

Shimada here. What's good?
If you're expecting a long elaborate post, of poetic flair, listing some long montage of my credentials, and dressing up the same points reiterated by others, but with a finer sugar, then I'm going to disappoint. That's not entirely my style, though I could happily oblige. Why? Because that's not telling you why adding me to your staff roster and team would be beneficial to you and the site as a whole.
If you're looking for a staff member who has experience, mature, and both the online and tangible credibility to prove themselves as a qualified candidate to your management crew, then quite simply, really without reasonable doubt and question, I'm that individual.
Former moderator at Shoujo-Ai Heavens
Admin and co founder of New Shinobi Legacies Till it's closing.
Former moderator and reviewer of the anime and digital entertainment community of Hitori Studios
Top that off with nearly 9 years of role playing experience.
Former moderator of Konaha A site with a member count of nearly 5.5k members for a year and seven months before leaving the staff due to real life demands. Which there my efforts and dedication to the community was so extensive, I was given my own "Appreciation Day."
Needless to say in that regard, when asked to how much had I invested into that one site, the list was extensive.
If it is in the best interests of the Glass Moon community to have a staff member who is going to mindlessly follow one set of instructions, and not bend out of the box to do what's best and responsible for the betterment of the site, then I don't fit the bill. However, if you're looking for someone who is educated, professional, can take their duties seriously, and can enforce a standard of quality that new and current members can recognize- you and I can have a very happy relationship.
Just ask the members here who know me from other sites. I have no doubt they share the same viewpoints-even if they didn't like me too much.
Because the difference between me and the next person is one word: Effort.
That should be all.
Interested in more, you can contact me via AIM wholelottachoas email: Wholelottachaos@yahoo.com, or PM

I'm also noticing quite a lot of applications piling up and I'd like to lend a hand as well.
Skills: Managing events, grading characters, skinning, graphics, and mostly all other staff-related and non-staff related things. However, I'm very good with handling members.
Experience: I've been a staff member on several boards for 4 years running, assisting as both a moderator and administrator.
-------
As one could see, I have quite a bit of experience as a staff. I'm able to do things most people couldn't, but at the same time I'm still learning. Having assisted in managing in those boards I've grown as both a roleplayer and as as a staff.
If chosen as a staff member I can easily grade applications and enforce necessary changes if there needs to be any. Although I can be quite strict, I'm also quite cheery and respectful as I wouldn't want to shy members away because of a bad attitude. Not only that, but I can control myself quite well, not hopping into pointless arguments and falling into the game of a troll's. I prefer intellectual conversations, or even silly one's, as a opposed to fighting amongst the masses over the Internet.
Though back on the grading of profiles, I can be brutally honest as I do not play favorites and nor do I just let things fly by. After seeing how other applicants are graded, I've gained a basic understanding of the approval system and what passes and what doesn't. And as a habit I constantly check templates and the rules to make sure that profiles are deserving an approval; not so much as a way to feel safe, but mostly because I like to have everything settled before embarking on an approval.
I can also do a mean advertising streak! Just tell me what sort of crowd you'd like and I can easily find boards to advertise on, though as I've seen you all advertise quite a bit.
My time is also not very limited. However, I do have a life and friends so I'm often outside, studying, or having fun with my family on vacations of some sort. BUT! I remain able to check applications when other staff could be out at school or busy, due to my class schedule.
I'd like to end this by saying that this site is very beautiful and that as it grows I'd like to play a hand on it's development and such.

Hello, I am Verse. Like the people before me, I have a good amount of forum experience. I have role-played for approximately four years, with staff positions at various sites ranging from admin, co-admin, moderator, and global mod. The zones, TEMPUS CLOCKWORKS, Animeleague to name a few. I am a retired co-admin of The Zones named Eve, and Ebeneezer of TC, and a retired assistant moderator named Posh(Forgot what I changed my name to there though). My roles have differed greatly largely due to my ability to do a little bit of everything, but application grader is a personal favorite of mine. I have a reservoir of patience and lack of a social life and I am a bit of a rule whore, so the position fits me well. When it comes to grading applications I prefer a tough, but fair approach. I hate that term, but it fits here. If you cannot abide by the rules then I will ask you to make the needed changes without berating you. On the social front, I feel being on good terms with the other staffers is a must being that we are a team. The team cannot function well without some form of cohesiveness and I plan to do nothing to rock the boat. Likewise, fighting with members is also a no, no for me. If members have an issue that needs to be settled I feel civility over excessive snide and hostility is the best course of action. I can promise consistent activity and offer any assistance with graphics if need be. When it comes to rule enforcement I believe in taking a no nonsense approach. If something is written in the rules there are no if and/or buts about it. I can be reached at po.rnography@live.com through email or MSN. I am aware my post is rather short in comparison, but I have always been pretty straight forward.

Hello, my name is Oozy
Some staff experience references: Former Head Mod| Former Head Mod| Game Moderator
Why should you hire me? Well in my honest opinion I believe that I would make a great asset to the BGM administrative team. Within your exceptions and requirements to even be considered as a Staff member, I’m very kind and affable; I have no intentions of entering unnecessary arguments on the site which I guess could be considered as a good characteristic, or at least in my book. I’m very deferential, and I’ll treat all members with the same reverence that they show me. I’m available; during the weekends would I consider my time most efficient towards my progression on the site. However I am on during the weekdays, as well.
Though personally I do consider myself very responsible, I’ve also been told that I’m quite the mature individual for my age (which I would consider as a complement). As stated above, I do have Staff experience. However I could only find three sites for now, on that site my main job was to review applications for characters, handle ranking applications and not only to create, but organize events for the site. I believe that those jobs can help me in the near future with Staff jobs and whatnot since I do have experience in a wield range of administrative duties.
Straying from my personality traits, I also pride myself on reviewing applications, as that was my job as staff on preceding sites. I’ve read most of the accepted applications on this site, and have even looked over the imminent profiles. I like reading and reviewing applications for some reason. I’ve also reviewed all the racial/ Species classes and I believe I’ve grasped a sensible understanding of them will, which will in turn aid me in any review processes if given the opportunity to do so. I’m quite familiar with Proboards and I can navigate around the site fairly easily. Though my dream job as staff is moderation, I can also assist in Plot/ event creations, as I believe I may have some imaginative ideas that could coexist with the ideas and wants of the staff, as well as the other members. Well all I can really say is that I’ll respect your decision anyway it goes and thank you for your time.

Hello fellow Glass-Mooners and staff!
I’d like to start off by introducing myself. My name is ******, but of course, I go by the name “Random” on this site, most especially on the cbox. Its origin is somewhat for pure humorous causes, but I’m not here to talk about that! So a few tidbits of information about me is that I’m a girl and hm, I frankly enjoy roleplaying, although I’ve just quite recently started. I stumbled upon this site by complete coincidence, and proceeded to fall in love with it, especially with the pretty (and I may say shiny) header of that kawaii girl (<3). The second thing that attracted me were the banners of the classes on top too, and from there on, my self-control just went downhill. So, enough about my blabbing! Point is, I really do like site and the friendly people in it (Biyori, Noki, Tsu, Xain, Eiffel, and others who, if I forget to mention, I’m really sorry). With the awesome appearance and awesome people, I am guaranteed to stay and stick this site out.
That being said, I’d like to actually get to my application. I’m not going to say that I’m better than everyone else who’s applied, because frankly, I’m not. I don’t have awesome (uber/l33t) graphic skills, and my roleplaying skills are average (around 400+ words per post as you will soon see). I don’t have much experience being an admin and whatnot, and every now and again, I’m lazy (who doesn’t get that way?) I’m also quite new here, so my knowledge of the classes may be limited. The point is, I’m human and I have my flaws, so I’m not superman and I don’t expect to ever be one. And I know it’s bad to start an application with bad qualities, but I should let that out now.
However! Despite these negative traits, I do have my up’s. As most people in the cbox can prove, I am a generally happy-go-lucky person who rarely lets anything bother her. I am also very friendly, welcoming new people (well, newer than me) should they ever happen to go into the cbox, where I attack – ahem, I mean greet – them. And although I haven’t started, I will soon be welcoming anyone who posts an introduction thread, so there’s that. As well, I particularly enjoy learning about new things (maybe one of the traits of being a bookworm?) which is what I have done here, with the classes. That being said, I have an open mind and, when explained properly, can learn new things with ease, a very quick learner, one could say. I am flexible, and can accommodate to changes the staff or forum may bring about. I am also a patient person – as most can also attest to in the cbox – and I don’t ask for much, especially when it comes to posting and whatnot. I also enjoy reading profiles (ever since I started roleplaying), because the mixes and matches of different ideas entices me. I have the patience to read through them as well. I am also a generally creative person when it comes to ideas – generally event-related ones or profile related ones – and with that comes the pride of my originality. However, there is always that point where I draw the line when things get way out of hand. One should know that I am not someone who can be pushed around easily – although it seems like it when I am in a good mood. Frankly put, I am not afraid to be strict when the time actually comes. And although I have said before I have no experience admin-wise, I do have some experience moderator-wise. Because of this, I have learned how to handle a general forum community – mostly with my cheerfulness and with welcoming ease.
So yes, that was my application. I currently only play Reverie Fuyuhana, my beloved summoner (<3), and you may contact me here through PM or at cherishedregret@live.ca.
I would just like to thank you staff for taking the time to read my horrendously long application, and I hope that it was worth your time. Thank you!
