Meraxa was not a happy fourteen year old, no, he certainly wasn't.
"C'mon Daisuke!"
They kept on cheering for such an idiot, someone who didn't even realise their own strength (in the bad sense).
"Punch him to the ground."
Especially since...
*WHACK*
"He's down for the count - Meraxa wins!"
Daisuke was up against him, and Meraxa hadn't lost a fight at school since he started. The school that is, not the fights. He never started the fights, everyone else did. He wasn't sure why either, maybe they thought that someone as thin as him had to be wimp or something - that was just his healthy stature fooling them, though he wished it wouldn't.
Whilst Daisuke was being shipped to the school's medical room, Meraxa got a brief lecture from the teacher on how he should really cut down on the fighting (though they both knew that it wasn't his fault) and then sent him off to class - no major punishment. He entered the classroom, a few glares coming across at him, though he ignored them. He had a few friends here, even if they didn't acknowledge it in public. Well, it was either keep the friendship secret, or be known far and wide as the 'friend of the boy murderer'. Oh yeah, like he was supposed to have killed his parent's when he was two years old - likely story. He spent the lesson rather effectively, learning a few more things about the composition of the atmosphere - it was science - but not much else. He'd had these kind of lessons for the last few months, in preparation for an exam.
Not that he didn't like science - heck no. He was a 'walking encyclopedia' as some put it, though it was doubtful he had that much knowledge in his head, just quite a bit.
The bell rang, and he went to lunch, buying a single sandwich, before heading to a bench to eat it.
"That was a fluke this morning."
"Isn't it always a 'fluke' Daisuke?" Meraxa countered the much taller student's retort, as he took a bite of his sandwich.
"I mean it this time! You got lucky is all! Even your friend Yukiko testified as much when I questioned her about it."
Meraxa stopped eating, what did that guy say?
"What was that?" Meraxa asked, a slight tone saying 'You had better be joking' in his voice.
"Oh yeah, she was real cooperative, especially when I got her to switch places with me - oh man the look on her face as I- UGH!" Daisuke's blathering came to halt when he suddenly came down with a case of 'fist straight to the jaw'.
"Oh thats it! Now you're getting the beatdown you always deserved." Meraxa yelled, but Daisuke was already starting to run for it.
"Don't you dare!" Meraxa began to give chase, pointing at Daisuke, only to see the guy burst into flames. And for a few moments, Meraxa just let the shock sink in as Daisuke burned.
"Well... crap." He muttered, before trying to find something - anything - with which he could put out the flames. Instead, everything else began to follow suit, wherever he looked.
He began to panic, unsure of just what the hell was going on.
"Wha- Ho- WHY?!"
