Eye of the Tempest. - - - EURYDICE carroll SAINT-CLOUD "Eclipses stain both moon and sun."
&. ALIAS: Euri, Tempest, Cloud, High Council Member Cloud.
&. AGE: One hundred fifteen.
&. GENDER: Female.
&. SEXUALITY: More or less asexual, though Eurydice seems to have a slight interest in males.
&. STATUS: Single, and is completely fine being that way.
☆ Calm and cool under any form pressure. ☆ Civil and polite to most strangers. ☆ Astute, educated and extremely literate. ☆ Strangely neutral in most matters and does not fight over petty things. ☆ Objective and practical.
★ Aloof and hostile once one gets to know her more. ★ Impossible to read and even more impossible to deduce what side she really is on. ★ Follows all rules with no exceptions. ★ Subconsciously manipulative and deceitful. ★ Is very willing to use others if the situation benefits her or her ( unknown ) goals.
✓ The scent of Cherry Blossoms. ✓ Winter sunsets and gently falling snow. ✓ Any form of literature, especially books. ✓ The flow and ebb of the tide on gray summer days. ✓ The whisper of the wind and deep silence.
✕ Those who shatter her pure, stagnant silence. ✕ The twinkling of stars in the night sky. ✕ Illiteracy. ✕ Stained glass windows. ✕ Ignorant fools playing the 'innocent-I-don't-know-anything' card. They should know better than to run towards the storm..
♡ To say Eurydice is truly aligned with the Unseelie Court is not a truth, yet not a lie. She is a sunlit shadow, belonging in neither yet in both. Of course, she puts on a facade that makes people believe that she is truly loyal to the Unseelie; but where her soul lies and who she really is for...Are just bits of pieces of the puzzle that is Eurydice Saint-Cloud. ♡ Eurydice fears of being without a goal. No one knows what her purpose is or what her dreams and aspirations are, but they know she must have goal, for Eurydice is always busy doing errands for god-knows-who and god-knows-what. ♡ Because she lets herself manipulate and be manipulated, her nameless goals have been pushed aside and have been delayed for countless times. Part of her knows that the Unseelie is where she belongs, and on good days, she even allows herself to be their little pink pawn.
» An onyx sun-shaped ring that she wears on her left pinky finger. This symbolizies her odd not-so-neutral-yet-very-neutral state. Eurydice was given this ring by her maternal grandfather, who was said to be lost at sea and whose whereabouts are currently unknown. » A yellowing, slowly-crumbling piece of parchment. Its contents are unreadable, but it has some sort of familiarity and sentimental value to the drifting cloud. Some gossiping fae say that it is a letter from her gradfather, and that they are planning to overthrow both Seelie and Unseelie court. Of course, this rumor was proven false when Eurydice herself claimed that her parchment was just filled with Shakespeare's poems.
- True-name: Solanine Cross Vremia.
- Caste: Noble.
- Species: Unseelie Fae.
- Magical Attribute: Powerful burts, but are often short-lived and are rare to come by.
Appearance: Eurydice's true form looks nothing like a gloomy, typical dark fae's, but even if her appearance looks like something cut and pasted from a child's fairy tale book, there is no doubt that a deep, sinister monster lurks underneath. Liquid shadows hang onto her like coats on a clothesrack, their never-ending void-eyes and their clawed fingers boring into her white, papery skin. Black clouds trail her and one won't find a big pink princess smile on her pale lips. Light cerise locks - -very much like Cherry Blossoms - - veil her ivory face and her electric sapphire hues seem to disappear behind her curtain of hair. Her skin, though, is paper-white and probably just as rough. She is of average height and weight, and her body is that of a normal seventeen-year-old's. Eurydice, too, possesses wings - - gossamer, moonlight-spun feathers that are the extension of her straight pink hair. They are silvery blue, demonic and delicate like a butterfly's wings. Her wings are not big, but are stronger than they look.
Her glamour is much more human-friendly. Her bubblegum pink locks are coloured a dark strawberry-blonde. No longer does her hair carry the windflower-like fragility Cherry Blossoms have, and becomes straight and stingy. Her electric blue orbs, though, remain virtually the same, but the lightning and rain that often reflects in them are obviously gone. The rest of her physique remains similar, except for her skin which is made more fleshy and human. Eurydice happens to enjoy watching said humans, which is why she uses her glamour more often than she really should.
Magic: Deus Ex Machina - Eurydice, with her neutral fascination with humanity, has magic that combines nature and science. Literally 'god in the machine,' her magic allows her to transfer her shadow play-slash-darkling-minions to everyday objects. When wreaking havoc in foreign environments ( i.e. the human world ), she often transfers her raw dark energy to more common items such as household things and batteries; things that have some nostalgic value to humans. The strength of Deus Ex Machina is highly subjective, and is often relied on luck and choice of objects to work. But when successfully trasferred, Deus Ex Machina may be able to create a storm of blood that could last weeks.
La Tempesta - A relatively weaker attack that consists of a rain of shadows. These shadows more often than not go berserk, attacking everything and everyone in their way. Mindless and hungry, these zombie-esque shadows know not the difference of friend or foe and would harm anything in their path. This bit of magic, though much weaker than Deus, is a lot riskier, especially since the monsters would most probably attack even the strongest and most loyal of allies.
Eurydice's magic is both weak and strong. Though her skills are mostly based on luck and are subjective, they can cause a relatively normal amount of damage even on her 'unlucky' days.
